I'm 68 years young and I really notice a difference in my complexion when I use this serum regularly. It seems to brighten my skin tone. I never write reviews about facial serums, moisturizers etc because I never really see "noticeable" changes, but I definitely do with this. So nice to have reasonable pricing for something I feel actually makes a difference!

I love that this serum has very few ingredients and has a great price. However, I don't love the smell. I was surprised because I saw other reviewers state that there was a mild or no smell, which was one reason I chose it. It is also a little too runny for me. I haven't been using it for long, so I will use it a little more to if the results are worth it. So far, my skin has not reacted to the vitamin C content in the serum, so it seems to be very mild.

I have sensitive skin and didn't have any negative reaction to this - no sensitivity or irritation. It is easy to apply, either by hand or with powder puff, and the pipette dispenses it easily enough. It spreads smoothly and absorbs quickly. Once on my face it's medium weight, neither light or heavy. It kind of smells like a food, but I'm not sure what - it makes me think of some kind of junk food but I can't quite remember what exactly. Not a bad smell, but I feel like I'm solving a riddle every time I use it. My skin seems clearer after using it, but I'm not sure. I think I can use less of my moisturizer when I use this because it absorbs more effectively. Overall I'd recommend it if the price is right for you. As a person with very oily skin, I usually stay away from facial oil . This was something that actually come up in my recommendations. I am so glad I purchased it. Using this along with the snail mucin is a game changer. A little goes a long way. I see a difference in my skin tone and texture. My face looks more healthy, even and toned . I wish I had before and after pictures .

this is a nice serum with a good variety of qualities! i love that it’s unscented and ingredients are very basic. it’s not very highly concentrated, but it’s a good serum for people who haven’t really used vitamin c before. it does feel a bit greasy on the skin, and since i have oily skin already i’m not a fan of the formula. i can only use it at night as my skin doesn’t absorb it very quick.

The Brighter & Even Skin serum is very tacky! The tackiness decreases after a while, but it still has a slight tackiness to it. Adding a moisturizer and foundation doesn’t help - it continues to cause my makeup to feel tacky. The serum feels medium oily, but doesn’t make your skin feel greasy, just tacky. I like the description that states that it “can trigger an increase in collagen and elastin,” which is important for 60+ year old women. Since I don’t appreciate the tackiness in the daytime, I will use this as a night treatment for the benefits that are described, which are many. I’m thinking of trying their “Serum for Anti-aging” next.

I am serum obsessed and have tried just about everything out there. I am very picky about what I use on my dry, aging and sensitive skin because if my skin doesn't like something or if a product is too strong, I am definitely one to have an adverse reaction with an angry rash that could last for weeks. I was a bit hesitant to try this because my skin has been in a good place. I have been continuing to use my waaay overpriced ce ferulic serum by you know who (if you are serum obsessed like I am, you know what I am talking about.) For the first use, I just put a little on one cheek, for fear that I would turn red, start itching, burning or who knows what. But, much to my surprise, my skin was happy. And, to compare it to my regular serum, I liked the fact that this feels a little oilier going on...it's not as watery, has a touch of slip to it and felt super hydrating upon application. It actually worked perfectly under my regular moisturizer and foundation and gave me the exact glowy look that I love. Hmm, how could a fourteen dollar serum make my skin look as good as my regular hundred and eighty two dollar serum. I figured I would definitely get a rash the next day, but no, my skin looked calm and happy. Well, I don't know, we are off to an excellent start with this serum, but only time will tell. I will continue using this and would be absolutely thrilled if it continues to perform as it did in the first few days so that I could ditch my other serum...feeling hopeful so we shall see.

This serum had ingredients that are good for skin. It does have a slightly thin yet slightly tacky feel on the skin. Sometimes I top it with a bit of powder so it doesn’t feel as tacky and it knocks down the shine. Sometimes I just use it before bed so no need for powder. This hasn’t caused any problems to my sensitive skin. I enjoy using it. It comes in a small amber glass bottle with an eyedropper style dispenser. There is no fragrance added. This is a nice serum which I like a lot.
