Thick, quality cards, comfortable size. Good price,
These are beautiful, classic, well made cards. The artwork on the card is really good. They are thick and durable enough that they can be used easily without worrying about damaging them. The box is well designed also and can hold all of the cards perfectly. The storage bag is pretty. And will hold the deck of cards and the instruction booklet. The book is ok. It’s just a tiny one so it does teach the very basics. If you are expecting an in depth explanation of how to set up layouts, look elsewhere but t does describe each card with a shall paragraph each. These will work perfectly for a started deck to learn how to read cards.

Nice tarot deck for beginners and those that want to reacquaint themself with the tarot.
I got this deck to help reestablish myself with the tarot. I have several decks the Raider Waite. I have been doing tarot for many years since I was 16yrs old. I have done them on and off. I like this deck because it has the meanings of the cards. The zodiac signs the minor arcana falls under. Yes, no, numerology and the element the card falls under. They are beautifully made and have a nice hand feel to them. I do not find them hard to shuffle as my hands are small, they shuffle perfectly. I also find that I am drawn to this particular deck. The colors are nice and bright; the writing is legible. They are true to the Raider Waite deck as far as the pictures go. The come in a nice velvet pouch and include are chakra crystals. Very nice deck and priced reasonably.

Bright, positive, spiritual.
Nice artwork: traditional but creative, bright and positive, as opposed to dark and murky. Much thicker and more rigid than the price suggests. The keywords and notations are helpful but minimal; not at all at odds with readings by experienced readers for real querents. The typeface fits the theme without being so artsy-craftsy that legibility suffers. Tall but narrow, which facilitates handling. Mine arrived, as I suspect most will, with no smell whatsoever. (Could that have been a spiritual anomoly?) Yes, that box is for the birds; I had to rip mine to pieces to extricate the cards! Meh. Store them in a small box or tray designed for index-sized cards: at the ready for insights and affirmations in between readings and study sessions. Let those spirits breathe!

A good deck with a few issues to consider
Okay, so, this deck has both pro's and con's to be said about it. Let's start with the con's. 1.It has the ever-hated tuck-box. I have used my cards twice and already the box has a small rip at the top, but, its a tuck-box;I can't really expect much more from it. 2. The font is not in cursive but it does have fancy cursive style lettering that makes it busy and not easy to glance and go. That being said, it is readable, and not as bad as some others have made it out to be. 3.I am not going to lie, this one ticked me off. The pentical is a pentagram. I am educated enough to know the full history of this symbol, and I know it was not always a sign of the underworld, however, it is strongly asscociated with both Luciferian and Satanic beliefs. I am a follower of Jesus Christ (allthough , not in the orthodox tradition). When I see a pentagram (5-pointed star with point down in a circle), I can't help but notice that it is saying the opposite of what the pentacal means to me. I can't use the bag at all because of this, regardless of whether it was intentuanal or not, or if it was based on an older meaning of the symbol. I am asking a seamstress to reverse the drawstring side for me so that I can use it. I do feel put off by this big of a mistake. Now let's look at the pro's. 1. The card stock is quite nice. 2. Card size- I had no trouble shuffling the cards and they are only a tiny bit bigger than standard size. 3. Very informative. At a glance , it can tell you a lot. It has authentic, traditional RW meanings, as well as elements, astrological info, and more. 4. The cards are reversable! That is getting difficult to find. 5. The backs are very pretty, but not over feminine or over masculine. 6. The pictures are straight up RW style. I love that the Queen of Wands has her black cat. When decks remove the cat, or change the color, they omit or alter the meaning that the black cat represents. I love the white rose with the fool. Basically, they did not change the important things. I would have liked a little green in the Queen of Pentacles, but, I understand why they went more gold. 6. The price. You get a lot for a good price. Overall I gave this deck 4 stars. I took off 2, but gave one back after seeing how well it read. I am a professional reader and would have no issue using this deck with my clients (without the upside-down star, of course). The bag issue was too big for me to overlook, so , it loses a star for that, but I gave back the one I took off for the font. This is a good deck and I would buy it again if I needed too. Update: I forgot to mention 3 pros with this deck. The cards are lovely. The art is very good, and the book is especially good for a tuck box deck. The book is colorful and informative. The deck is beginner friendly, however, it is a fun deck for vets too. For pro readers, it is a great deck for clients, because they can read the traditional key words as you offer intuitive meanings. I rarely use decks with meanings on them myself or for clients but I found this one helpful with clients interested in both intuitive and traditional reads. They can take a picure and read it later. It really is a great deck.

Extremely useful for beginners
I really like this deck where it shows the meanings for both upright and reverse positions so I don’t have to keep searching for the full details from the handheld book that came with it or tarot books that I have in hand already. The smell may stink a little when you first get them because they are new but it will eventually fade away. Here’s the size difference side by side compared to the original Rider Waite Smith deck. The size is slightly larger and the quality seems thicker than the original but it is durable as you can see that I’ve been shuffling them a lot to see a small bend. I have small hands so shuffling can be tricky and difficult. The details are pretty and easy to read, there are some misprint when it comes to misspells but I’m not too bothered by it. I love the color for this deck because I feel like black suits me and the design on the back of it as well. Here is one of the examples from my recent readings that I received from Freyja: Her message is if you are going through something, she wants you to forgive yourself and learn to accept new things that you learned in your life. Be less stubborn and move on from the depths of darkness(dark emotions aka negativity/depression/suicidal, sadness). Deep-seed fears from 9 of swords reversed, if you feel the need to reach out, you should. Listen to your intuition. The devil doesn’t mean evil but means working on yourself, your shadow self and your insecurity. Your inner calling is the repeated forgiveness. Lastly, deep love for yourself. This is the full message from Freyja. It’s the first time I’ve had a full reading from her(Empress & Queen of Pentacles is her significators). My experience with using tarot and being a small Norse Pagan: I started mid October of this year and this is how much I improved as of today. 2 months and 12 days-ish. I hope this helps! :)

Perfect for all interested in tarot
These tarot cards, are perfect for all interested in tarot. These are not just for newbies. Even advanced tarot readers can benefit from this deck. As it's always nice to have a little refresh on what each card means. If you're new to Tarot it's even more perfect because it tells you what each card means and represents directly on the card. This includes yes no answers to each card, what the reverse means when you are learning that especially that is useful. I also especially love that it tells you what planet and what element it is connected with. The color of these is perfect in my opinion. They are not too bright however, still very vibrant. Each card is the perfect thickness, in order to hold up to the wear and tear of shuffling these decks as much as they will be. If you've ever utilized tarot before these cards are the size expected. A little bit larger than a regular deck of playing cards. However, not too big to hold. One check I find is to hold the deck on the long sides shuffling the short sides together instead of holding the short sides and shoveling the long side. This will help if you have smaller hands from straining to hold the longer side of the deck length in your hand.
