I have shaken it very hard after i have let the optic turn off automatically. Is there any other way to troubleshoot?

Mine does not shake awake. It appears to be a lie.

Does this have Shake Awake?

No.it has auto shut off.you turn it on initially then it will turn off after about 2 minutes of no movement and turn back on after it senses movement within an hr after that it shuts off completely then you have to manually turn it back on

Is this compatible with night vision?

Haven't tried it. It does have green illumination and it is not day bright
