Great little packable backpack for travel
Great little packable backpack. Took this on a trip to St Croix and it worked great for carrying items from rental car to the beach, sometimes requiring over a mile hike to get to the secluded beach. Was able to carry two medium sized beach towels, a drone along with it's controller and a JBL bluetooth speaker. It was comfortable as long as I had the towels on the side resting against my back. When traveling, I have a nice, sturdy Osprey backpack for carrying my laptop, ipad, and a bunch of other stuff. However, I don't want to use it for hiking when I get to a destination and this one worked perfectly for my situation, and I anticipate using it for trips like this for years to come. Best of all, it was easy to re-pack it back into the compact form!

Nice for travel
I have a Sierra designs bag that's similar. This one is a thicker guage fabric and has a sternum strap. They're both great - one super lightweight and packs tiny, the other more durable and has the stability of ther sternum strap. It looks pretty good too. Did I need 2? No. But i like both for different uses.

Surprisingly durable, roomy, and lightweight
I just returned from a two-week backpacking trip overseas. While I checked my 30L backpack, I needed a carryon bag that I could also cram into my backpack for the hiking portion. I also used this pack to carry essentials for a night on the town, while leaving my larger pack in the hostel/albergue. This Osprey pack was exactly what I needed. Packability: I didn't even bother folding this bag up; I just crammed it into the bottom of my pack, and it flattened down to nothing. I didn't even notice it was there--It took up next to no room, and it weights next to nothing. Durability: this pack is very tough for having such thin, lightweight material. It holds up to abrasion and dirt, and it is even somewhat water resistant. This is not a pack that you can rip on a tree branch, or poke a pen through if you have one in your pack. Comfort: The chest strap (which also has a built-in whistle) and the shoulder straps distribute the weight evenly. Since this is a packable pack, there is no cushioning. So if you were to fill this backpack with sharp rocks, you will feel every one of them. I did wear this pack around a lot, and it was very comfortable to do so for several hours at a time. Capacity: I did worry that the airline would lose my checked hiking pack with all of my gear, so I filled this pack with a lot of stuff for the airplane, just in case. It fit a full change of clothes, a raincoat, microfiber towel, all my toiletries, an international AC adapter, two external batteries, cords, an iPhone and iPad mini, and half a dozen charging cords. Not to mention some snacks. And there is a water bottle holder on each side of the pack. I was able to fit a 1-liter Nalgene bottle in each of these. This is going to be my go-to backpack for this kind of travel for a long time.

Compact backpack, great for light travel
Wow, I can’t believe how lightweight and package this bag pack is, it really checks all the boxes. The color is great, size is good. I don’t expect too much for water resistance, and the material is very thin which definitely helps with its compact and lightweight structure. Used during travel, served its purpose.

Perfect day bag
Perfect day bag for traveling! I didn't know I could like a bag so much - but this thing is awesome. Holds a ton, has a couple different pockets, and folds up super small when you're not using it. Highly recommend!

Great bag but
Lightweight and easily packable bag. I ordered this bag to use as a day pack while leaving/returning to camp when backpacking. It’s the perfect size and holds everything I need for a day journey (extra clothes, drone, gear, water). The system to pack it back inside of its roughly 3”x5” pouch is easy to use. Once loaded with gear the bag is comfortable to wear for the rest of the day. The chest and waist straps make wearing of the bag even better. My only issue is with the life of the bag. The two holes on the bottom of the bag are from taking the bag off, setting it down, and picking it back up. I’ve only used it about 3 times. 1. On a redwoods trip leaving it in the car 2. A 10 mile round trip hike at Alamere falls 3. A 5-6 mile hike to Wapama falls in Yosemite. Not sure if osprey covers this line of bags with their warranty. But if they dont, don’t expect long life from this bag with constant outdoor use.

The Bonus Pack You Didn't Know You Needed
This bad boy is functional and fun to use. It folks to the size between a softball and baseball, is incredibly versatile and its ease of packing makes it a mandatory inclusion even for simple overnight trips to have on-hand. I often pack a foldable bag too but prefer to use that for shopping (ie. groceries, clothes). This collapsible pack makes it far easier to explore urban and rural areas without committing to unpacking a travel briefcase (ugh) or laptop backpack. And it's sturdy.

Awesome little day pack
Keep this bag in glovebox or packed into a carryon suitcase. I like the durability, water proof, and size both packed and unpacked. Great for tossing in a couple nylon shopping bags hand sanitizer water bottle and all the other little things you may need while walking through a new city

This pack is the right size and very useful! Nice that it folds into its own pocket but ever since it arrived it's being used.
