Excellent book. It goes over Java concepts very in depth from the basics up to the popular java libraries like threads, networking, and GUI swing. I haven't used Java in years and this brought me back up to speed.

Ottimo libro su Java: contiene TUTTO quello che c'è da sapere sul linguaggio. Le spiegazioni sono intuitive, supportate da esempi molto utili. I vari argomenti sono ben collegati tra di essi e nulla viene lasciato al caso. Lo consiglio o a chi sta imparando il linguaggio da zero ma sopratutto a chi lo conosce discretamente bene e vuole avere una reference pronta per approfondire aspetti che magari ci si dimentica o non sono ben chiari. Nonostante il prezzo, diciamo che il contenuto lo giustifica appieno. Nota importante: come manuale é molto più recente rispetto ad altri.
