Exact replacement for idle air control valve on 2002 Dodge 5.2 L V8
Liked that very easy to replace old gunked up and sticking valve, giving misfire error codes on cold starts. Dodge 5.2 L V8.Seems to be working fine now but time will tell.Happy with quality and ease of installation, comes with new screws that seemed loose and not to be correct thread size. Reused old screws with no problems.Happy with seller and purchase.

Works great, but had to use old parts
It's a decent product and fit perfectly. I knocked it down a star because I had to use the old O-ring and original fasteners and that's a waste of money for new ones that didn't work. Once I did the IAC reset procedure it works well. I had idle fluctuations and this fixed that. But.. the O-ring and fasteners that came with this did not fit and I had to use the old parts. The new fasteners have the wrong thread and the O-ring was too big and couldn't get the IAC into the throttle body. We'll see how this does as time goes on.

Don't use it a whole lot but been great so far
Durango was constantly stalling when stopping - this part solved the problem... at least for the last few hours of run time. Don't use it a whole lot but been great so far. I was a bit concerned that most folks fixing the 'erratic idle' and stalling problem needed this to solve the issue - mine was not revving badly as others noted, just stalling... appears to be problem solved... part fitted easily, appears well build.

This improved idle and may have improved overall performance.
This made my 1999 Dodge Ram 5.2L run better. The idle is smoother and it may or may not do better driving down the road. I had a truck like this previously and cleaning the IAC and the throttle body made a big difference.This is a pretty common part to replace on the 5.9L and 5.2L Ram trucks.

Don’t waste your time or money on this one
Wasted my time installing this walker should stick to exhaust systems truck still stalling got another one wasted my time again do not buy spend more money get a quality one it can make you easily have an accidentPaulMobilewrench

Dodge Idle Air Control Motor fixed our Ram van
Changed out the IAC on our 1996 Dodge van, with the 318 engine. Runs like a top now. Idles smooth as silk. If your Dodge has an unusually low idle and stalls under load? This item will take care of it. It’s a common failure part on Dodge engines.
