Fantastic barre
I am a barre and Pilates RYT yoga teacher. I have a large walk in closet and wanted a barre in my closet for my own practice and also to come up with new material for my clients. This is a fabulous barre! Just the right size for one, and sturdy enough screwed to wall, to loop a thera band around it for arms. I highly recommend for home or small studio use. The 4ft size is perfect for one barre teacher or one student. Putting two on this barre would be too close to one another risking safety and contact with the one another.

2 for 1
Very sturdy and finish is nicely done. Too bad my little girl lost interest in a week. It's now an expensive hat rack. Who knew you get a 2 for 1 when buying this.

Good but only two mounting holes per bracket
I bought the 80” ballet bar/brackets from the same company, with which I was very pleased. Each bracket included three mounting holes. I bought the 48” bar thinking it would have the same mounting brackets, but the mounting brackets have only two holes. This makes for a slightly less secure bar and makes the installation a little tricky because the bracket overlaps the top mounting hole. On the plus side, the two in-line mounting holes ease installation directly into studs. If you intend to mount the bar to a 2x6 mounted to the wall and are not concerned with stud locations, look for the 3-holes bracket. If you are mounting directly to the studs, this model is acceptable. If you are attempting to secure the bar to only the drywall, consider carefully your life choices. Outside of this bracket/bar system is the best. The bar is flush to the brackets, the brackets look great, and the system is very reasonably priced.

Exercise bar
It went into our wellness room. After 70 you occasionally need a little extra support. This bar is stylish, comfortable and east to put up. We'll be using it plenty!
