Good little controller.

This stepper motor controller does exactly what it claims to do! The PDF manual doesn't have the best translation to English, but with a little experimentation you can figure it out pretty easily. I needed a linier actuator to move a certain distance at various speeds, and the return to the home position. This works perfectly! It is very customizable for many different functions. Going to buy another just to have on hand for future projects. BTW, I'm running a Nema 23 Stepper connected directly to the unit.

Hooked this to a stepper motor to control a shock valve to R&D for myself. Found a good working value set and wrote it all down. Programmed an arduino and off to the races we went. Either way, this thing works great.

El módulo funciona muy bien la verdad que que sea todo en uno es una gran ventaja y fácil conexión. Lo único es que para un uso contiguo no calienta muchísimo hay que refrigerarlo con un Cooler porque seguro se termina derritiendo. El plástico calienta el punto que se ablande el plástico de arriba, que es muy finito y obviamente quema la mano el disipador.

It works but it says it's rated for 4A but it gets very hot running 1A at 12v so I fell there is no way it would handle 4A.

Es genial para pequeños proyectos de robótica o si eres aficionado a la construcción de máquinas pequeñas, a mí me pareció útil porque en mis tiempos libres hago maquinas cnc y la uso para probar los motores paso a paso al momento de instalarlos para calibrar guías y verificación de conexión, tiene varias funciones incluidas lo que es genial porque se adapta a diferentes aplicaciones, puntos en contra realmente son pocos e insignificantes para mí, ya que por el bajo costo no son relevantes, talvez lo que podría mencionar es que no traía información, aunque si ya tienes cierto grado de experiencia todo es intuitivo, lo otro es que los materiales de construcción son livianos y frágiles, pero es de esperarlo porque su valor es considerablemente bajo, ideal para un laboratorio de pruebas y pequeños proyectos de robótica.

Great product. It could benefit from either Youtube or better documentation. I bought this to make a power drive for a lathe. Works great once you've got the encoder coder right. Nicely designed unit.

Instructions very badly written. Its not good enough to use, perhaps google translate, for a technical item. One of the pins of the three pin plug dropped fell off (and is still in my mains socket). Looks the part and promises much very disappointing item. Not really fit for purpose.
