This chocolate will blow you away if you are used to American chocolate
I've bought Venchi several times as gifts for serious chocolate enjoyers. This is not only miles better than American chocolate, but it's a cut above Italian chocolate as well. There is none of the grosss butyric acid flavor you get in American chocolate (the flavor that makes Hershey's taste like vomit.) And the hazelnuts are subtle. Not overpowering and oily like you may be used to in something like Nutella. Highly recommended. Buy it in advance of holidays, since it is scarce and goes out of stock often.
