I have a 7 year old, 11 pound chihuahua who had always cried and whimpered incessantly from the backseat where he was being seat belted in, making ANY AND ALL trips miserable for all of us - 20 minutes or 2 hours. We got this and installed it on out Jeep console armrest as the instructions state (fantastic safety with this seat y’all - great job!), and he was so happy he was able to be right beside us - close enough to give us a quick kiss whenever he wanted ❤️ I couldn’t be happier with this!! Review: Dog loves his perch, we modified it!! - Super secure and safe. Sides and back a bit tall for our pup, but with zipper sides we just took out hard plastic sheets and put in foam back and sides!! Made them much shorter cuz our pup likes to put his head on sides of beds. Now it’s perfect. Easy and cheap to modify, the rest of it was just great, love it.

Zipper Broke Before We Got to Use It
The whole thing zips together at the bottom. The plastic zipper broke before we even got the seat installed in the car. I would have hoped that for the amount of money I paid, it would be sturdier than this. I'm very disappointed that we won't be able to use this for our trip in 3 days! No time to buy another one now, either.

Zipper error
Part of the zipper wasn't on track so the last about 6 inches doesn't close fully. Still functional

Love the straps to secure around the headrests
I've had a few of this type of console seat, this one is a bit different. This has removable adjustable elastic straps, so if you use it as a carrier you won't have straps dangling from the bottom. Also you can place them vertical or horizontal on the lid of your console depending on your needs. The adjustable shoulder straps have side release buckles so you can secure them around your headrests. Since my console in my 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Touring Plus doesn't have a lid on the console these straps worked out perfectly. Instead of having foam sides, this has corrugated plastic to keep them rigid, and don't bend when my 6lb pup stands up on them. Since the thin walls barely take any space at all compared to the foam sides ones, it gives your pet a couple more inches of room inside. The furry interior and one side of the pillow are super soft. Although the bottom of the pillow is a slick synthetic fabric which allows it to easily slide around. If your pet is a fluffer, expect the pillow may pop out occasionally. They really should have added some type of Velcro to prevent this, especially when driving. For reference, I shared photos of how I had to get creative and build a platform for this to work with my 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Touring Plus, which the console is not large enough, it also sits too far forward and doesn't have a lid. I also didn't want this to take away from our flip down armrests. The things we do for love. No complaints thus far, I'll update if something comes up. Oh, one of the snaps which hold the front pillow up when used as a carrier wasn't seated properly and won't snap closed. Hopefully this was helpful, Thank you!

Her new favorite spot for car rides!
The measurements were crucial, both in the car and for our dog. I was worried she’d be too big but the bed fits just right for her and the car. Everyone has a more comfortable ride now, this is perfect for small dogs 👏🏻

Perfect!!
My mini dachshund cries every time we are in car. He loves his new seat and no crying!!! He loves sitting right up here with us.

Perfect fit for Ford Explorer
Pros: -super cute and fits perfect between both front seats -accommodates my 8 lb Shihtzu to the T. -has easy to remove washable fabric -nice latch to keep my pup safe inside seat Cons: -due to the placement of the seatbelt straps that get secured around the headrests two things occur: 1) the fabric gets pulled enough to where it will tear… soon. 2) if I tighten the straps that go around the headrests too tight then the car seat begins to elevate, so it must stay loose for it to sit on the console. -the zipper to join the base to the walls seems to be backward. I had to make it zip backward then forward again for it to zip. -worst thing of all is that eventually the car seat began to scoot backwards causing my dog to panic. Conclusion: the support is lacking. If I manage to find another way to secure the latches I might be able to use it again.
