Love this color! So rich and bright. I take it with me to the salon❤️ I only use the gel. The regular polish doesn’t match the shade of red and it’s not shiny :/ I wish I could only buy the gel.

The perfect fall red color! It’s cozy but sophisticated! Love! I have always loved dnd gel brand! Their colors are brilliant and the formula is incredible! You need two coats to get full coverage but that’s the usual. Goes on smoothly, cures well, and doesn’t chip for weeks on end! The durability is insane! My last color lasted me over 4 weeks and still looked great other than requiring a fill. I get my nails done at a salon but I purchase my own gels and take them with me. I’m terrible at making color choices in a few minutes and it feels like I’m under pressure-so this allows me to consider my choices before I go get them done!

This is the DND color “wineberry” I used the gel bottle. I noticed in a lot of other reviews people seem confused about what you’re getting when you order this product. Yes, you are getting two bottles. The bottle where you can see the color is regular nail polish. The other bottle that is either gold, silver, or white is the gel polish. You have to order the basecoat and topcoat separately. You can search that right on Amazon. And it comes in a pack together. If you use the gel polish without UV lamp, it will be sticky and not dry. I also wanted to mention that the gel polish will feel tacky until you apply the topcoat. So, when you are doing your nails with the gel polish and UV lamp — you want to prep your nails by filing down, wash your hands to get dust off, then you want to dehydrate your nails by using a paper towel (or lint free swab) and alcohol, and letting that dry (do one hand at a time. If it has dried too long, it’s not as dehydrated). You will then apply the base coat, and treat it in the UV lamp for at least 60 seconds. Then you will apply one coat of the gel polish and cure for another 60 seconds. Then you’ll apply one more coat of the gel polish, or until you get to your desired opaqueness, then treat again for 60 seconds each time you apply a coat. Do not touch the nail in this time because it will be tacky. This is what happens. When you are happy with the opaqueness, this is the time that you will apply the topcoat. I recommend curing this in the lamp for between 90 to 120 seconds. After this cure is done, your nails will be finished. You can then wash your hands, apply some cuticle oil, whatever it is you desire. The reviews that complained about tackiness are probably not doing the process correctly. If you have questions about doing the process, try watching a YouTube video of the whole process or just googling it. This is a very good product as long as you’re using it correctly. Make sure you are using the correct bottle. And further understand that you are getting one regular nail polish and one gel nail polish and you need to purchase the base coat and the top coat separately. And if you want a gel manicure, you have to use UV lamp.
