My dogs devour these duck treats. All natural.

These tasty morsels of dehydrated apple slice wrapped in a strip of chicken are represented as being " all natural" , "premium chicken breast" "no by-products - no preservatives " AND are said to contain 115 mg. of glucosamine HCl an 80 mg. of chondroitin SO4. AND...the dogs LOVE them. HOWEVER...Look at the label a little closer and it is made where??? MADE IN CHINA . In a disclaimer addressing this concern ( remember the dogs and cats dying due to melamine poisoning to their kidneys when the Chinese manufactured protein was enhanced with the deadly protein heavy plastic used in dog food European , Canadian and American manufacturers had purchased from China?) a paste on circular label has been attached to the front stating " Tested in USA"...and explaining that the testing is random and performed regularly. SINCE THERE IS NO AGENCY REGULATING/ MANDATING quality control in the US of dog food manufactured elsewhere , my question is By whom ? May I see the results of the tests? Who is doing the testing? One treat a day for each dog ( Bichons) and they scarf it down and LOVE it....so the four stars for appeal. I am acting on good faith giving it to them and hoping I am not sorry at a future date. They really do look yummy!!!

My dog LUVs these treats! These are sold @ the all natural pet food store down the street. These are no more expensive on Amazon (less in some cases) than they are @ the store & that includes having them delivered right to your front door. Great treats, great deal. Update 1/11/15 Yes these are made in China - but they are USA tested (regularly & random) per package label. This is the only "Made in China" treat/food I give my dog. Much of Loving Pets line is "Made in USA". Have been giving them to my dog for years & so far so good. Perhaps I will again try to find Duck Jerky Made in USA. It's not easy. Cadet is rated well here on Amazon but is similar - also made in China & Inspected / Tested in the USA.

My Sarge loved these and would run to her treat spot and sit "patiently" (HA!) as soon as she heard the bag. I liked that they are a healthier treat with some protein for my skinny girl. She burns a tone of calories and is VERY active but wont eat a ton at a sitting so they are great to keep her going.

The product is no better than other jerky wrapped sweet potatoes, but I guess I paid for the pretty packaging.

My dog is extremely picky when it comes to snacks. He absolutely loves these and gets so excited whenever I open the bag. I give him 2 of these when I'm eating my breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings. If he has these, he takes them off into a corner and doesn't worry about what I'm eating. They're chewy and dense, so it takes him about as long to eat two of these that it takes me to eat my breakfast. This is by far his favorite snack. And I absolutely love the fact that it's all real, natural ingredients. Apple and chicken are the first two ingredients listed (there are maybe 5 in total).
