Camshaft Follower Comes with Rubber Seal

04 audi A4 Did high pressure fuel pump and this is how bad his cam follower had failed. New one fits perfectly and car now runs like a champ!

Hitachi hpfp exact fit as OEM. Cleared my p2294 check engine lite and EPC lite.

Fit perfectly on my 08 Audi 2.0. You cannot go wrong with this part.

Well, this fixed my P2293 code and car does run better. You can see my old one is cooked. I was experiencing loss of power at 4k rpms it would just cut off at hard acceleration like a governor of sorts. Also, start up and idle was a little rough. Car feels great now. As far as quality of the part it’s hard to say at this point, I’ll see in a few thousand miles. The O-ring in this kit is nothing like the original whatsoever. Half of the diameter thickness of oem. I chose not to use it and reused old one. No leaks so far but I would definitely choose I higher quality kit with better Oring for the next round.

This is a must have for any Audi/ VW CAR THATs fsi Easy to change out usually every 50 to 80 k miles if you drive your car normal with a few spirited drives here and there there! Replace it sooner than later because this little part can destroy your engine if not replaced. It rides inside the cam lobe so it is a wear and tear item.

Stocking up on this part as long as I own my MK5 GTI, extremely well quality and fits perfectly. Not a very expensive investment compared to a blown engine.

Giving it a 3 star rating because the o-ring included was the incorrect size for my Audi A4 application. The follower itself was identical and functions correctly, however the diameter of the O-ring is incorrect for my A4 application(too thin). I had to reuse my old O-ring. The follower itself is good quality, packaged well, but the deal breaker for my rating was the seal. The part itself fit per Amazon's vehicle selection, but not the o-ring.
