Disappointed with the speckled clay. I was very excited to fire this clay but the grog is massive. When fired it is very bumpy and sharp. Ruined integrity of the glaze. I wouldn’t recommend this speckled clay and won’t buy again.

This clay has the perfect moisture level. It is easy to center and to raise walls on the wheel. It is equally good for handbuilding.

I am a professional potter of almost 20 years. While the clay is definitely throwable, it is very groggy and the grog pieces are very large. During glaze firing, those pieces expanded to a point where they made the surface, extremely bumpy and even sharp. I will not be buying again.

I love that a bag and zip tie is provided. The clay was easy to work with and good quality. Will definitely purchase again. Can’t wait to see the results after it’s fired.

it’s very heavy. I know it’s hard to ship, but by the time it got to me, the box was falling apart, and as soon as you see the box, you knew that it was a giant lump of clay, which wasn’t ideal for something being delivered as a Christmas present

So easy to work with, will buy again
