Good quality, but be very careful when using. If possible, wear hand protection when trimming toe nails. I bought this nail clipper to help trim one of my toenails that is thicker than the rest. This clipper trims the toenail significantly faster and with less struggle than regular clippers. However, be very careful because this clipper is sharp. The closing mechanism is different as well, it’s hard to explain but the clipper closes by itself. I wasn’t paying as much attention as I should, and cut my hand while using.

I had no idea that they had this type of “ultra wide, jaw opening nail clippers“ for years I have continually tried to use regular clippers and nail files on my feet and toes. This was so easy and quick to do this. It came this morning and I used it this morning. You just have to be careful not to overdo cutting. Use it right and it’s perfect.

If you have thick, difficult to cut nails, this is perfect. It's sturdy, high quality, and VERY sharp. It is very easy to grip and use if you have hand arthritis like me. The only thing I didn't like was how it was very wide. You really have to be careful it doesn't actually cut part of your finger because it goes beyond your finger since it's so wide.

just as described, easy to use came in a nice storage container and a velvet bag, very sharp they work great on my son's tough toe nails, very happy with this purchase i would recommend purchasing this product if you have tough nails they work great.

These clippers are the best for toenails. Their larger size and longer handle makes them very easy to grip without slipping. They cut easily and appear to be well made.

I bought these nail clippers hoping they would help because the normal ones break easily. These nail clippers adjust well, clipping is sharp and quick. They are well made (quality is great) and i like that they were packaged well. I can easily store them without losing them. I think the price is good. I would buy these nail clipper’s again. (Purchased date 01/01/2026).

Very sharp, works fine. I'm not as used to this shape and they are real sharp, so I can't just blast through my hands and feet like I can with the regular clippers. These are fancy and super sharp, we keep them in their little bag and case.

I had been encouraged by many of the positive reviews to give these clippers a try, having seen comments about how sharp they were, and seeing relatively few reviews showing broken springs (which seem to be the biggest complaint among reviewers of clippers). Based on what I saw, the spring on these clippers doesn't get compressed very far - even when the "jaws" are fully open and are therefore unlikely to break in most situations. My nails are very hard and potentially brittle, and I will normally only cut them after a shower, when they've had a chance to soften up in the water. To test these clippers, I decided to cut them without first soaking. I wanted to see whether they would crack/split and whether the pressure required to actually cut them would be too difficult to manage with one hand. My toenail, which is wider than the width of the blade, did split when I cut it. But, it split perpendicular to cutting line, and in the opposite direction of the cuticle towards the end of my toe). So, the toenail clipping came off immediately (normally, when my nails are soft, the nail will NOT come off until I reposition the clippers and finish the cross cut). Even though the nail clipping came off on its own, I still think I will maintain my routine of soaking first - no sense tempting fate and possibly have the nail split in an unpredictable manner. As far as safety, I can see how someone who keeps their toe in place and approaches the toe with a wide-open clipper jaw could accidentally catch some skin. However, if you bring the clipper slowly towards your nail and position the skin so it rests against the outside of the lower jaw of the clipper, you should be able to do a clean, safe cut. The final criticism of "open jaw" clippers is that they don't prevent nail clippings from flying all over. I did experience this with these clippers, and am thinking through how I might be able to solve this problem. So, a very strong endorsement of this clipper, as long as you take steps to keep your fingers and toes from getting pinched.

Really good clippers - they can somehow cut through my unnaturally thick toenails with ease :)
