Took the tips for install from other review i read. The product itself works as it should. Made well. Product arrived fast.

Orginal replacement. Slightly longer than standard 3-5mm. Was compressed with ratchet strap to fit.

These fit perfectly on my 2007 volvo xc70 cross country. I read some reviews saying that they were to long, but if you just lift up on the gate slightly they pop right on. You just have to remember that you're replacing worn out shocks with brand new ones so they're going to be slightly longer.

Bought these to replace the leaking 20+yr old OEM struts I had in my 2001 Volvo XC70. Do I expect to get 20yrs out of these, absolutely not, do I care absolutely NOT. They install exactly like the OEM Volvo ones. You need to remove the small "pin" prior to pushing these onto the ball socket. Once in place replace the pin and lock them in place. Best to have a helper so the y can hold the hatch up, while you work. The hatch is super heavy on its own. Getting to these is a bit of a pain, lots of brittle plastic trim to remove. Quality seems decent, overall FOR THE PRICE AND QUICK DELIVERY, I'M VERY HAPPY WITH THEM
