Mayco Raku Glazes - Peacock Matte - Pint

i was a little skeptical about buying this glaze due to the other reviews, but due to me being frugal i did, and i’m glad i did. this glaze has a vast array of different outcomes, lower maturity producing a grayish color, while peak maturity producing a gorgeous green, the natural materials used (pine bedding, feathers, and hair) bring out even more gorgeous colors in the glaze. 11/10 i do recommend.

Very textured and looks bright teal before you raku fire which was fun lol great list and look very much enjoy this glaze and other from this company

Very disappointed. The instructions called for 3 coats of glaze. After the first coat, was not able to add more. The glaze cracked and peeled and flaked off. The result in the Raku firing was nothing likr the illustration on the jar.

I used this on a small piece. Looks good. It is matte.
