WONDERFUL solution vs. baby gates and other wall-damaging systems. Strong recommend!
Background: Ok... so... I have three dogs in the house that only MODERATELY tolerate one another. The Schnauzer mixed with lord-knows-what is 21 years old, blind deaf and has no idea she's invading someone's bubble - the Maltidoodle is a psychotic ball of energy that constantly wants to chase everyone and bite their tails (in a playful fashion) - the Blue Heeler/Lab mix is a crotchety old female that would like the other dogs to just leave her alone while she takes a day-long nap. Review: These nets are SUPER easy to install (be sure to stretch them TIGHT as they do loosen a tad over time). They are NOT adjustable once the hooks are placed without taking off a nice patch of paint (so be aware renters), but, once installed, these will do A LOT less damage to the walls than any other dog/baby gate. Putting the net up and down (opening/shutting) is simple and has become a quick one-handed motion for me. Being that they are black and I am old, neither I nor the Schnauzer hardly notice them and both laugh hysterically when the other walks into it (which hasn't ruined them or ripped the hooks from the wall though we've both done it a bunch - so solid build quality!) All in all, I'm SUPER happy with this cost-effective (frankly, cheap) solution to what I thought was going to be a significantly more expensive headache to solve. FULLY RECOMMEND!

Not for puppies unless they're trained
I have six (yes six) German shepherd's ranging between 80 and 95 lbs. they respect the boundary and it works as advertised. Here's a problem I think most of the negative comments come from. If your dog is not trained, this won't work because it can be torn by their nails. If your dog is not trained to respect boundaries, they can run right through this because even with it being screwed in or taped on, the eye hook is elastic and will pop off. This is a well made sturdy product and performs exactly as I expected it to but this is not for all dogs. It will not work for puppies (they are still learning boundaries) or untrained adult dogs of any size. Opening and closing is simple. You may want to position your hooks in different directions to keep them from slipping off when you open. For example, my bottom hooks are sideways facing opposite each other. One of my top hooks, the one I use to open and close is facing up whereas the opposite hook is sideways. This keeps them from coming off when I go in the kitchen. The product comes with extra sticky backs because you will probably need them. I did because I had to play around with the direction of the hooks. Once you pull the hook off, it doesn't stick right anymore. For the cost, this is peace of mind. It keeps the dogs from laying around in the kitchen. The value of this item is worth the small cost of it. They don't counter surf but the hair omg. I don't cook often but I have to clean everything in the kitchen before I cook. This saves a lot of work. It's super light weight and easy to use.

🐕Mesh Miss: Didn't Quite Cut It for My Canine Houdini🐕
I was initially drawn to this mesh gate for its seemingly easy installation and the promise of keeping my dog out of certain areas. While the setup was indeed straightforward, and the gate seemed reasonably durable at first, it unfortunately didn't hold up to my large dog. Within a few months of use, my dog was able to easily push through or maneuver around the mesh. It simply wasn't a strong enough barrier for a determined, larger breed. I ended up having to purchase a larger, more robust plastic gate shortly after, which has proven to be a much more effective solution. If you have a smaller, less persistent dog, this gate might work fine. However, if you own a medium to large-sized dog, especially one that's determined to get through barriers, I'd recommend looking for a sturdier option. This mesh gate, while convenient, ultimately wasn't a long-term solution for my needs.

Perfect! Great for small schnoodles
My small Schnoodle does not mess with this at all even if I have it hooked on the two upper hooks and the two bottom hooks are not even attached. He still doesn’t enter in because it’s blocked. Set up was a breeze under five minutes, maybe even less than that. Easy design easy installation the hooks have very sticky tape so be careful applying it to walls that have paint because it might chip off. But that just shows it’s stable to keep the gate up. I am very impressed. This is definitely better and easier to keep my dog out of the living room when I’m at work. I have a problem with him, pulling all the pillows down off all the couches and leaving accidents so this helps control him instead of taking him out every two hours with that gate up. It’s now 3 to 4 hours with him being three years old. He should be able to be continent for a slightly longer period. I’m just happy to come home and the living room stay in a neat way. I am impressed it’s only 2 days he is already use to it and his boundaries. Thank you!!

These work well - may want to take all the way off when not using it
These work really well when they are up and closed, however they don't have a nice neat "open" way to store them while still attached on one side. You may need to create your own mechanism for wrapping it up when also open. It is very easy to remove completely and put back up though, so if you have a good place to store it nearby, you can always just take it all the way down when you want it open and then put it back up. I also tried rolling it up to the side, and used a curtain tie to keep it rolled up, but it wasn't very tight and still looked kind of messy. Also, depending on how small your pet is, you may need to tack down the bottom middle if it's not tight enough going across. One of my Poms is very crafty, and he was able to push under it, despite it being relatively taught. I put a nail in the middle right under the lip of the top stair, and I poke it through the bottom of the screen when it's up. Works great. Just make sure the nail is in far enough and covered enough that no one can scrape their foot on it as they're climbing the stairs. Make sure you measure the opening and order the right size as well. You want it to be tight going across, but not too far from the walls that your pets or kids can climb through the gaps on the sides.

Ok if your dog is very trained and well behaved enough to not just walk right through it.

Dog could easily slip through sides when approaching from non-hook direction.
