However, in a nutshell: Things I liked: + The spread of the light is perfectly suited for video - having a landscape light to match a 16:9 video makes perfect sense and the most important thing - the light itself - works really well. Better than a ring light. + USB C port is detachable. + The standard 1/4" tripod mounting hole can be moved to different positions on the light - really handy. Things I didn't like: - Included mounting mechanisms feel quite cheap. - The light defaults to bright, warm light if it loses power, which is a bit of an annoyance. Do I recommend it? Yes. £25 is quite a lot - the light itself doesn't feel very substantial - but you can't deny the effectiveness of the wide spread is really good for close video lighting.

This is a review of the SRIKEKL Video Conference Lighting Kit. It comes in a plain cardboard box together with a mounting clip, mini tripod for standing it on its end plus connecting lead with inbuilt control/switching fitted with a USB plug and instructions. The main screw-in base can be altered from in the middle to use on opposing ends by slipping the blanking caps out - see photos – so you have a choice of three mounting positions. In use it works rather well - the central mounting clips snugly over my laptop so the webcam clears it and is still useable. The assorted modes give decent colour ranges plus are dimmable. I find that by plugging it in to a USB on my laptop I can type away without having a main room light on, so obviously saves energy that way. Overall very pleased with this well designed and versatile light.

Good for MSTeams calls - it clips onto the laptop screen and gives even light in an otherwise dark room. After two months the mini usb connection on the back became loose and now it flickers so much it is effectively unusable. Verdict - the returns window lasts a month - the product lasted two months!

It’s a little bit fiddly as the screw doesn’t align with the camera, it’s a bit difficult to get this pointing directly at your face. Not bad for the money

I recently ordered a video conference lighting kit and I am extremely impressed with its functionality. There is so much functionality with this light it's amazing. It has a clamp fixing that can go on your laptop to provide you with extra light but also has a foldable tripod stand so it can be mounted vertically and placed wherever you need it. There is 3 different white lights and also a brightness and dim function to. All of which can be controlled from a small remote connected to the main power (a USB that cam plug anywhere) Perfect for online meetings, vlogging, Skype, zoom as well as other media based work. Really good value for money, lightweight, simple to set up and use. Really pleased with this.

If like me you're just using a webcam on its own with no lighting this will make the quality of your video so much better, you can mount it either on top of the pc/laptop screen or use its own stand to stand on a desk, you can change the brightness and the colour temperature to get just the right look too, certainly made a nice upgrade to my webcam footage, recommended.
