Trico Exact Fit 400MM Conventional Wiper Blade Front Windscreen

Be wary of buying this if you have a Range Rover Sport. The Amazon website says its compatible but I can assure you that it isn't The range Rover Sport has a cover over the wiper arm which is riveted to the hook arm assembly . This means which means that any replacement wiper blade has to slide in horizontally and has to have a release mechanism on the underside (which the factory fitted wiper blade has) . The release on this blade is on the top and has to be opened to 90 degrees in order to slip the hook arm and it is then locked by snapping it shut. This is totally impossible to do on the Range Rover sport unless you cut off the wiper arm cover. Even, if by some miracle you managed to attach it you would never get it off again, Halfords sell a similar model and they assured me that there is no way it will fit a Range Rover Sport . If you want a rear wiper blade for a Sport , Halfords have to order them is due to the unique attachment mechanism.

I used amazons 'enter your car details' service and confidently ordered replacement wiper blades for my daughters car.on the plus side they were delivered quickly, they don't fit though, not even close!The blades required for a 2000 VW Golf are 1 @ 14" for the rear, 1@18" for the nearside and 1@24" for the offside.Moral of the story; take your own measurements before ordering and don't trust the 'helpful' guide on amazon.The blades themselves seem to be of reasonable quality and the low star rating reflects on Amazon rather than the product.

As others have said, Trico is the best wiper blade on the market.Although most Japanese cars have NWB blades, many of them are Trico-designed and made under licence.The quality is better and longer lasting than Bosch (my previous short-lived wiper).The only problem is manipulating the cussed adaptor to fit it.

Fits

Didn't realise until I had fitted this new blade, just how bad the old blade had become. Slightly shorter than the one it replaced, it nevertheless does the job perfectly.
