You really get a lot of animals for the price in this set and they are well made. I wish they had the names written on the underbelly of these, like some other brand figurines, but for the price they are great. They are strong plastic with no unusual smells and they all stand easily in their poses. You can only bend the legs if you apply a lot of force and they then return to their previous positions. I love the wolf, his eyes are so intense, my 5 year old says he has “wild eyes” and it’s true. If your kid loves animals and figurines of all types, just get the set, it will please them.

10 piece woodland animal set was quite nice. The solid plastic figures are a good size for little hands and the texture and detail well done. These were engaging and many Pre-K students played together with these. There are a nice variety of animals here. Many not found in the Northeast so they were new names to learn for my kiddos. The animals are not posed in static positions. Many are walking, have their head turned and the beaver is sitting up. Kids played cooperatively with these and many students were engaged throughout the day. These will be even more popular when I add little trees and rocks to this set. Good purchase.

My 2 yrs old loves playing with animal figurines and naming them. This is a nice addition to what we currently have (safari animals). I would say most of the animals from this set are pretty realistic, the paint job maybe 8/10. They are sturdy and just the right size for toddlers especially they like to carry them around and even out and about. They come individually wrapped so you could either open few of them at once or all at the same time. Might need extra packaging/ wrapping if you were to gift to someone. I could totally also see myself using the deer family (set of 4) as cake toppers for my husband's bday.

This set of animals is very well-made, with mostly excellent details. I say only *mostly* excellent because the badger I received is completely solid black with no white markings whatsoever, like someone completely forgot to paint it. I ordered another set of animal figures from the same company and I was a bit disappointed to discover that several of the figures are exact duplicates between the sets. Since the male European elk and male wapiti (another name for elk) are included, I was hoping that the doe and fawn would match up with one of those to create a family, but they are different. There is also a brown bear cub, but no adult brown bear. Honestly, the selection of animals included in this set feels as though someone was choosing at random. I wish a bit more thought had been put into a more cohesive animal selection, and to prevent duplicates amongst the multiple sets that they offer.

I bought this set to use for a habitat lesson with my son. I love the inclusion of the badger, as i had not seen a set with one included until this one. The set is very well made. My issues and the reason for 1 star being taken off: The red panda and okapi make no sense to the rest of the set, as one is from Asia and the other, Africa. Instead of including these, I wish they would have added an adult bear to go with the cub, and maybe a wolf pup. I also feel like this set is a little overpriced for how many pieces you get.

I got these for photography and display use, and the details are excellent. I like the inclusion of some unusual animals in addition to the normal deer / wolf / bear. I would love an adult bear in the set too! The eyes look almost realistic - except the wolf, who looks like my cats during zoomies-time, which makes me laugh every time I look at it (in a good way). All of the figurines stand up on their own. These would be perfect for wildlife dioramas or school projects.
