Perfect cupboard staple for those days when only chicken soup and Kneidl will do!
Delicious, quick to make and even quicker to demolish! Thoroughly recommend ... I buy in bulk because it's so difficult to get these where I live.

Easy, quick, reliably not bullet-like!
I’ve always enjoyed Telma matzo balls from mix above all others tasted. Their texture is light without being insubstantial and the taste is not … invasive, ie they take on the taste of the soup I have made not insisting on a strong taste of their own (as Manischevitz ((sp?)) mix does.

12 packets and worth the price of chicken soup for the soul.
I was only expecting 6 packs but two were in each box so that's exceptionally good value. I'm sure that these must be obtainable in a Jewish supermarket but so far I haven't found one. Living in Greater Manchester we must have several. With the last pack that I purchased (which contained two mixes and was almost the same price as these were) I made a simple chicken soup and then followed the even simpler instructions to make these. They are delicious, filling and mine and my mums favourite soup.

Like being back in an American-Jewish deli!
Whenever I'm lucky enough to visit America, I leave perpetually jealous at the choice of really great Jewish delis I find dotted around their cities.. something I feel is sorely lacking in the UK! There's nothing quite like a warming bowl of matzo ball soup before tucking into a tasty salt beef sandwich. That's food worth travelling for! Whilst my own cooking doesn't compare, this little packet of joy let's me re-create at least part of the experience at home. Chuck a prepared packet of Telma Kneidl into a chicken broth that's been slow-cooking for 24 hours, add noodles and let it bubble for a few minutes, and you'll have an authentic soup that'll rival any half-decent deli. Okay, so it might not compare with the secret recipe of some of New York's finest... but it'll get you a lot of the way there! 6 packets is probably overkill (more than once I've found a packet or two in the back of the cupboard, only to find it's out of date!) -- but for the price, this is far cheaper than a plane ticket to my nearest deli. Love the stuff.
