Finds the gold but requires good water flow and angles to function, which I couldn't do in my high water river with no rocks. Will keep trying. I found a single fly poop. Even with the challenges I faced.

The product was arrived packed securely and intact. Inside was the Deam Math, unscathed, ready for immediate use. Light weight durable aluminum, fits in my backpack. Recovered flour gold and one picker on the first day. It was not easy to clean,however. My only negative review. Over allva great tool for us beginners.

This product has tremendous reviews and YouTube videos about it because it works. Had to try it for myself and I am beyond impressed, also just buy it on Amazon because after shipping on their website you save money if you can find the product on Prime.

I have been testing this DM Trek for 9 days straight, and very amazed on how well it catches gold...even catches the fine gold dust that you can barely see. Very happy!

This is a box that can be used in hard-to-reach locations, as it is small. It can be used for effective sampling of an area, but it is not suitable for production as materials must be pre-classified to run properly. This is not a box for shoveling material straight from the river. I would say that it is a good box for kids to learn with but the metal that is used for its construction is rather thin and sharp, my friend's 11 year old daughter cut her hand trying to set it up.

Just buy it already! Aside from heavy clays, the 6x16 combo mat in this 24in trek sluice will capture most gold you throw at it! I've testing tailings a few times and never found anything other than a single spec of fly poop one time, all while running at different flow rates. Big thanks to Tim and Dave for creating such a cool and fun product!

Bought it to find gold, but all I've found so far is Zen, watching the paydirt trickle down hypnotically listening to the creek babble while my dog lays on the bank watching over me. Cheaper than therapy.

Product performed as expected. Somewhat overpriced but still does a good job.

Not crazy about combination mat design, would have preferred only large collection mat.
