Great case

Hard to find the life proof these days, thankful Amazon. I work in and on salt water for roughly 120 days a year. My device/phone Hass to be with me for water safety at all times. We are well away from civilization. Nine years with this product, and they don’t last forever but they’re super adorable and they work and I’ve never lost or damaged a phone in a life proof case. Probably about 12 cases later. But it’s the only thing I can trust my device on the salt water with. Hope this helps somebody OtterBox took over life proof, so I’m sure they’re going to continue the same standard of quality when we can’t find life proof anymore.

Item arrived on time, carefully packaged, and in perfect working order

I bought this case because I really needed a sturdy, waterproof case to withstand all the abuse of a toddler running off with my phone. I will start by saying I love the case and it has done its job well so far! However, there is a little thin film over the flash on the case (whereas there is a hard cover over the camera itself) and unfortunately that thin film tore within just a couple days so the case is not quite waterproof anymore. I can still use it in splash situations, but I wouldn’t dare risk taking it somewhere it may be submerged at all (like, dropped in the bath tub for example). As far as shock proof durability and the rest though, it’s fantastic. I love the slim profile and built in screen cover. Do note though, this case has been discontinued at the manufacturer level—so when I reached out to Otterbox (who has now bought out Lifeproof and is phasing out many of their cases) this case is not eligible for the replacement warranty it used to be. You can get a discount on a new Otterbox case, but none of the Otterbox cases for the SE are waterproof, sadly. The FRE case is available for the iPhone 14/15 though. Overall great case, just be aware that if you have grabby, mouthy toddlers or may be working on terrain with small rocks that could puncture that film, you’ll lose your submersion-level waterproofing pretty quick. If you mainly do normal day to day things (and don’t have dogs or small kids), it’ll last fine. I’m still using mine even without the total waterproofing because it’s good enough at all the other things.

Lifeproof has always been my go-to brand for phone cases. They’re durable and definitely protects my phone.

I ordered this before going to Hawaii with the intention of just keeping my phone safe from splashes of water. When I received the case, I followed the instructions to test the product in water and looked at the case really carefully. It was actually really easy to install, but you have to make sure you do it correctly and don't disrupt the rubber seal on the inside! I have a screen protector on my phone so that may have interfered with the touch sensitivity, however it wasn't enough to bother me. Surprisingly, the material that covers the camera portions didn't really affect the photo quality either! I take a lot of pictures of food on my iPhone 8 and was really surprised how crisp the photos turned out. The only complaint is that the piece of plastic protecting the thumb/menu button was very thin and almost broke because of my long fingernails. The case itself is very study and I can guarantee that it was waterproof for at least 6 days. I went into the ocean, jumped into a waterfall, and even dropped my phone in the mud and it survived everything. I can't comment on how long it will last if I remove and reinstall the case, but this was definitely a winner in my book.

I'm so happy with this case! It's waterproof, dustproof, and bump-proof. I fish and spend time at the beach, and I like to have my phone along to use the camera. My last case was drop-proof, but not waterproof or dustproof. My screen cover was so scratched-up it was impossible to show people a photo unless we went inside or into shade. Really embarrassing! My brother finally said I HAD to get a new case! So I looked online for my 3 requirements: Drop-proof, dustproof and waterproof. The only case I found that meets my needs is the LifeProof FRE SERIES. When you first get it, you put the case together, making sure the gasket is in place. Then you put it in water for 20 minutes (I left it longer) then dry off the outside and open it to check for leaks. If it leaks, you return it for a replacement. Mine didn't leak, so I put my phone into it and have been loving it! I show it off to friends and family! I recommend this case!

Arrivata nei tempi indicati. Avevo già acquistato prodotti Lifeproof. Questa è senza dubbio una cover eccezionale. Oltre la robustezza e la garanzia di protezione, è bella. E' un prodotto che consiglio sempre a chi ha un Iphone, oppure uno Smartphone di una certa importanza. Garantisce la protezione del telefono. Non ho mai provato la resistenza all'acqua.

This is the best case I've gotten for my phone. It's done an excellent job in protecting my phone from my klutzy hands constantly dropping it. While the case wears out after several years' of abuse (due to my daily habit of dropping my phone), it has succeeded in protecting the phone every time. I've never cracked a screen or suffered any other damage that would otherwise impact the phone's functionality.

The color and fitting is fitted for the iPhone 8, but the piece to lock the charging point is quite loose. Not as tight as it should be.
