Incredibly handy when you really need it. Balencing things on a trolley jack is always abit iffy whereas this is alot better & more stable. Used it a few times now & never had an issue. I had to cut the brackets off for the strap, far too big & in the way so just loop a strap over the whole thing for now. And yes you can wind it up/down with a impact gun.

Although I managed to remove and re-fit a few gearboxes with a regular jack or my bare hands, this jack makes it easier. Wasn't an easy decision, as it is a bit overpriced, hence the 4 stars.

Product seems well made. For me, I had to adapt it and make the surface area wider to accommodate the transmission for an L200. I then had to add two other straps to secure the transmission.

Very useful tool. Removed gearbox on a Jaguar XJ8 in my drive with it. couple of tips, if its very stiff to wind up I found wriggling the gearbox (gently!!!) helps as it takes the load off one side of the concertina extenders. One criticism is that the ratchet strap is not accessible when you get the box up into the transmission tunnel. This means you cant reposition it on the jack. Don't as I did try to take it off to reposition the box, it slid off!!

Excellent product, worth the money. Makes job of removing gearboxes easy, quicker and much safer.

Bought this to get my gearbox out of my Escort Cosworth, worked really well, got the car up as high as possible on axel stands then use this to take the weight of the gearbox, worked perfectly very impressed. Came fully assembled bar the castors. Well made will get years of use out of it. Recommend

I used this to remove my differential and it's perfect for it. Far better and safer when working by yourself. I'm not sure I'd use it for a gearbox but it would certainly help if there were 2 of you working on it. No negatives for my uses !

Parfait pour remonter des boîtes longitudinales ! La boite de ma 350z fait 58 kg et je l’ai remontée seul en 30 min ! Oui cela se « tord » un peu à gauche ou à droite suivant si on a bien centré ou pas la charge mais c’est d’une telle « simplicité » de remboîter une boite de vitesse avec cet outil qu’on lui pardonne vu le prix !
