I am a treasure hunter. Magnet fishing and metal detecting are two of my favorite. I bought this piece of rubber to display my finds. It is strong and is a great backdrop for my finds. Going to get a few more at different colors.

It's a white sheet of silicone rubber. Easy to cut into any shape needed. Keeps my bar glasses from sliding around on my presentation tray. Not much more to say. It's kinda overpriced, but oh well. At least it does what I need it to do. No more spilled cocktails at our gatherings. 🙂

I purchased the 3" x 9" sheet, 1/16" thick, to make a gasket for my water bottle. I thought the final gasket would be right at 3" wide, so I was dismayed when the sheet of silicone measured only 2-7/8". An eighth of an inch might not seem like much, but for my purpose, it would have been the difference between a perfect fit and a leaky gasket that falls out whenever the lid is removed. Fortunately, my measurement erred on the large side, and the final gasket was ever-so-slightly smaller than 2-7/8".Other than that, it's a nice item for the price. Very smooth and easy to cut. Just order a size up if 3" is a real necessity.

I bought a new herman miller everywhere table. I wanted to protect the top from gouges and staining while using it. It looks great! The mat does not detract from the aesthetic value of the table. It is almost seamless.There was a shallow creasing from being folding in half in the loose packaging.. It is barely noticable. I purchased the 1/16. It is very thick and heavy. I may try the 1/32 next time. It was easy to clean. It does not slide around on the table.It is a well made and long lasting product. It will be easy to role up and store in a mailer tube when not using.It is worth the price. It is made in the usa. I am very satisfied with the results.Thank you!

Odor issue

Amazon can do customers and itself a great favor by being informative: it is not so hard to let customers know where products are made. I ordered several types of rubbers from different sources. Some got destroyed because of low quality even before use (the money was lost), some were returned because of bad quality. Finally, I spent time to search for made-in-the-US stuff and this silicone rubber came in just as expected: clean, no dangerous chemical odor, appears to be truly FDA-approved for food and household usage. Please Amazon, let the customers know where a product is made so that the customers can make decision and save the hassle of ordering and returning. It cost me money because of bad products, and even when I could return a bad product, it was still a loss of time and a hassle.
