The glass on this is much thicker than I expected. It doesn't seem fragile and the light looks very pretty. I love the timer.

Gorgeous! I'm buying more right now.
Received this in one day! It is clear crackle glass with a delicate lighted wire threaded inside, with a battery and on/off switch hidden in the botton. Sits flat. It is so very beautiful I will use it in so many ways especially at the holidays. In fact, because I can't decide where, my easy solution is to buy more! The price is right. I am very happy with this purchase and you too will be happy.

Beautiful illumination
The globe has a little weight to it, so it sits on the table well. The light that it gives off at night works well in my large living room. It has a lovely glow and it well worth the price.
