I think it was too expensive but it's also solid copper untreated I don't know why they charge more for the untreated

As long I can say is that EVERYTHING cooked in this pan will taste good. I also use it to cook a homemade Paella. It is definitely heavy , pure copper throughout. The main thing to remember when cooking with Pure Copper is to NEVER let any thing you cooked in cool down in the copper pan . and Never cook anything acidic in the Copper Frying Pan.No tomato sauce, lemon, or lime based ingredients.

Well balanced, well engineered pan. It's worth every penny. The handle is designed to keep the heat away from your hand and near the base of the handle.. I have another copper pot that I can't grip because the handle is not well thought out. This pan makes that one even more obvious. I know this pan will help me reach my goals.
