It does not have a very powerful suction but it works for what I need and seems good so far. Occasionally the pump stops and I have to power cycle it but it starts back up, not sure what exactly is going on there.

After only two days of usage my pump went dead. I had it connected to a transformer for 110v and even did a reading on the power. On my part I kept the pump safe but the pump itself is poor quality. I had a look inside and found the coil is only wrapped up in rubber tape. I don’t see how this is a “water proof pump” since water leaked into the tape and now my pump is fried. I hap to spend a huge amount of money on shipping it and now that it’s broken I am really disappointed. Don’t buy this item there is no reason you should if you plan on pumping water. For air vacuum it’s fine though.

When I bought this it was for a project I was working on. About two months later I pulled it out of the box to get to the next step in my project and that's when I found out how poor it was. The vacuum can barely be felt even with the tubing occluded. The little instruction booklet said the on/off switch was on the bottom, it is on the power cord. This is junk thrown in a box. If I tested this when it arrived I would have sent it back.
