Q: Can you use this in the Ashleigh & Burwood lamps?

I was told by a retailer that you can, but you cannot use the Ashleigh & Burwood in the Lampe Bergere.

Q: Do I have to use a lampe Berger burner with this fragrance or would another brand of burner with a wick work the same??

I have Ashleigh & Burwood lamps, switching to Lampe Berger oil a while back. I've had no problems and I heartily recommend the Amber Powder fragrance.

With this oil you soak the wick and then light it and it makes quite a flame so I think no

No, this can only be used in Lampe Berger catalytic burners. This is 99.9% alcohol based, you will not smell the fragrance until you actually burn this product through a catalytic stone (burner). Hope this helps. You should try one..... they are brilliant :-)
