Okay, it 'does' work. But there's something you need to know about the 'flaws'. Example, if you open the app and leave it on the screen that shows your profile/heart charge.. it won't work. You must ALWAYS EXIT THE APP FROM THE ACTUAL HEART BEAT LIBRARY WINDOW. Or it will drain your battery because it forces a connection to your heart. Second, waking it up isn't difficult as long as you do the above. Most issues you will encounter is because you closed the app on the wrong window. (Yes it does store the heart beat in the heart itself and doesn't need the app to function. But because that window FORCES the bluetooth activation to check your battery level it can't handle multi-functions. If this happens, you will have to leave your heart on the charger, (you will notice it will do the blue blinking light, and you will have to open the app while it's on that charger to toggle the bluetooth off mode by hitting profile, bond heart, then selecting library). Once this is done, your heart will once again act the way it's suppose to. That fix process is a little bit finicky, so just make sure you don't close the app on the bond heart battery level/profile window to avoid the fustrations. This is particular window will constantly ping your device and keep your heart awake, and make it so you can't feel anything because it enters a bluetooth mode. If the battery dies in that mode (because lets face it even low powered bluetooth modes will drain battery like crazy). You have to leave it on the charger until it's fully charged and 'green' glow before unpairing, opening the app repairing, toggling that window and going back to the library before closing. As a software/hardware tech, it doesn't take much to figure out the mechanics of how the bond heart works. Especially once you encounter the common errors people have faced - this is the solution to avoid those problems, and fix those problems without needing to return the necklace, because it's not broken.. chances are it died from nonstop trying to connect to bluetooth mode because of how you closed your app. So with that said, do i think it's worth it? Yes, would I like the 20$ extra I spent literally the day before it dropped to 86 -.- YES, Is it worth the 100$ this will depend on a few factors. Overall if it's just to store a loved one's heart beat.. no. If you use it for multiple things like LDR, and the above. Then that answer is def yes. 80$ is more realistic given the above issues with how the heart can get locked into bluetooth mode and the headache it can cause when it does. Especially since I just posted a fix for everyone who has been eyeing this necklace but were worried about the negative reviews. But if that 20$ don't matter as much as the sentimental value does. I don't think it's something you will regret buying even at the 100$ price target. I love mine as I use it for both LDR and family, but I can't justify buying another even for family members at the given price that I wound up paying for it. The one I am keeping for myself, will give me access to the same things when they release a gen 2 with the program errors fixed and more core designs which they could use to 'beautify' the product. Which will be what i'm willing to wait for, before buying it for the rest of my family - that is unless something bad happens and one is needed for a loved one. Overall, I think every person should have just 1 if only for the recorded database. Then wait for second gen to work out the kinks, unless you don't mind the smaller hassles listed above to get it to work again. If your tech savy, and patient. It's worth having. A gift for an elder, or someone who might not pay attention to how they close the app. Maybe not so much unless you yourself set it up for them with their partner's heart beat just to avoid the risks listed above as most people will check battery level then close an app after setting the heart beat they want to feel. DO NOT DO THAT. TLDR **Make sure you ALWAYS close the app on the library and NOT the battery level screen for the heart. ** If it's to late, your gonna have to read what i said above to fix it. Update: battery life is incredible, my boyfriend got one and now wears my heart. We are in a LDR and sharing heart beats has been such an amazing thing, especially for comfort. This item is literally priceless for what it offers. I absolutely adore it.

Great for long distance
My boyfriend loves it. It's really wholesome to have your loved ones heartbeat any time you want it.

Buyer beware! False advertisement. Uses default heartbeat
This was purchased as a Mother’s Day gift and was originally supposed to be delivered before mother’s day but was delayed and delivered the day after. I really loved the idea of this necklace but it fell short. The necklace was incredibly difficult to get to sync. As stated in another review I did have to take the heart itself out of the necklace frame, which is surprisingly difficult to do. After that it still took about 20 minutes because it would just not connect. Ever since then it is constantly disconnecting or acting like it’s dead and when I plug it in on the charger, it is fully charged. I’m a cardiac nurse and absolutely loved the idea of recording the heartbeats however, after I recorded the heartbeats for my children and my husband once playing them back through the necklace and filling them, they are the EXACT SAME HEARTBEAT FOR EVERYONE! Once you record a heartbeat, it either goes through the motions and pretends it is recording and plays a default heartbeat when you are wearing the heartbeat. This would be less noticeable if you weren’t recording multiple heartbeats, and if you didn’t have experience in the cardiology field. However, since I recorded multiple heartbeats and work in the cardiology field I can tell you that either I have a defective necklace which might be the case or this is extremely false advertising because my three children, different ages and my husband do not have the exact same heartbeat rhythm. I even recorded my own heartbeat through the app because I have a heart condition that gives me a distinct heart rhythm yet when I play my heartbeat on the necklace, it plays yet again the same exact beat plays for my husband and our three kids. It does shows that I am changing who’s heartbeat is being worn at the time so I can say that the app works in that aspect but it plays the same rhythm for everyone and that rhythm doesn’t match anyone in my household. It’s just a default heartbeat. very disappointed and would not recommend. Also just a side of the chain is very cheaply made and gets twisted and stuck constantly.

unique and valuable
Although my partner and I thought it was a sweet gimmick I soon became very attached to feeling his heartbeat. It was frustrating to set up and seems to need a few minutes yo "recharge" if it's been used a lot, but I am grateful for this chance to feel my partner near to me at all times.

Bond Touch Heart Review
I originally got the Bond Touch Heart for my son, who gets nervous sometimes, hoping it would help him feel more secure knowing we’re always connected. However, pairing it was a nightmare! I couldn’t get it to turn on, even after reaching out to customer support. They ended up sending me a replacement. When the new one arrived, I discovered that you could remove the heart from the metal necklace. I decided to try pairing it while detached—and it worked! I went back to the original one, removed it from the necklace, and it paired too. Nowhere in the instructions does it mention that the metal necklace can interfere with pairing, which was frustrating. Once paired, though, it was super easy to use. I also found out that you can only have one heart per account, so I had to create a second account to pair the second device. Now, I have one for my son and one for myself, and I actually love it! I even reached out to the company, offering to pay for the second one, since the first wasn’t defective—just a case of poor instructions. Despite the initial struggle, I do recommend this if you’re looking for a way to stay connected with a loved one! Pros: ✔ Provides a sense of connection and reassurance ✔ Easy to use once paired ✔ Sleek, wearable design ✔ Responsive customer service Cons: ✖ Extremely difficult to pair without knowing the trick ✖ Instructions don’t mention removing the heart from the necklace ✖ Only one heart per account, requiring multiple accounts for multiple users

It works
I was hesitant in purchasing since there was only one good review, however, I took a leap of faith. I bought this for my daughter. Once charged, I went to pair and honestly at first I did have a a hard time pairing. However; instead of following the actual directions, when pairing, if you tap around the heart it did pair. Then once you record your heartbeat by using your index finger covering your camera on the phone (my phone is iPhone), you will see the recording in the Bond app. Then to feel your heartbeat that you recorded, do not follow the directions that asks you to hold the heart in your fingers, this didn't work, instead, place your thumb on top of the heart and your index finger along with your middle finger behind the heart on opposite side and press down, Wala you feel the recorded heartbeat. The box it comes with makes it easy to charge your necklace by feeding the cord (which came with the necklace), through the box and placing your necklace on charger. However; the charger does come out of box if you prefer. As another person pointed out, it would be a much nicer necklace with a better quality chain, so I may purchase a different chain to look more elegant then the chain that the necklace came with. So far, I am very pleased with the purchase and time will tell if it holds a charge and keeps the recording. Either way, with the heartbeat recorded in the Bond app, at the very least. you will always have a visual of your loved ones heartbeat even if the necklace does not last.

Precious
Wish I got this before my youngest died. I got one for me and my step daughter. I have my oldest son and his son. I’ll get another for my DIL so she can have the same as me, her husband and son. It was a little tricky to make it work but once I figured it out it’s been wonderful to have.

It really works... and is the most heartfelt gift ever
I know there wasnt many reviews.. but im so thankful i took a chance. My husband has been in and out of the hospital over the last few months... and i missed not being able to snuggle and listen n feel his heartbeat against my cheek.. this gave me a closeness i craved when he wasnt beside me. Now i have captured his heartbeat forever no matter what. And i can store the heartbeat of my children who have geown up and moved away.. i will always carry a part of them with me and its stored safely on my phone. So very grateful.. Only thing i would change is a prettier chain. Like a sterling silver rope chain.. makes it feel and appear dantier. Or an pretty etching along the outside. Besides that its amazing... The box it came in converts into a charger container. Kinda cool. Lol. Get one and dont wait. You never know when it will be too late to capture that moment in time♡
