You'll need a smaller bulb for this to look good. It doesn't allow the light to spread but goes give the room a nice cosier feel.

This is the type of purchase you do for the looks only. If you’re thinking about practicality don’t buy this. I bought it for my breakfast bar and returned it because it looked disgusting after a couple of weeks. The particles of dust and grease from the kitchen got in between the metal and the glass making it look disgusting and extremely dirty. And I don’t even cook much! Cleaning is an impossible task. You can clean the glass on the outside but to clean the inside part you have to disassemble the whole thing. And when you assemble back you spend half an hour trying to align the two parts together. Just a nightmare.

I have 3 single pendants above my island and the 3 joined ones above my dining table. I am very happy with the way they look and the electrician didn't seem to have fitting issues but as others have stated the glass is so fragile. I have already replaced one dome and over the course of a year 3 more have cracked - one while I was cleaning ever so gently and the other 2 got knocked and bumped each other gently. The cheapest replacement glass I can find is from Discount Homes lighting at £20 each

I purchased two of these lights to hang above my dining room. While my girlfriend was dusting them the glass globe broke and cut her hand. The glass globe is so thin and broke into shards, it didn’t shatter. To me this is dangerous and I will be replacing both of them with another design. Nice idea and look ok but the glass needs to be a lot stronger or toughened.

Cheap and flimsy, out of shape when installing. Waste of money

I didn't buy this light from amazon but was looking for replacement part hence came across it, the glass very fragile, it was shattered by just holding it while to try to unpack it. The parts dose not fit together nicely, looks tilted, however I had 3 so either throw them all or find a replacement for the shattered glass.

Ok, so I didn't buy my lights from Amazon but I think it's worthwhile sharing on this forum. First of all, the lights do not build and sit well the components are poorly designed with no locating dowels or rebates so they are tricky to get sitting correctly between the glass and the copper dome so they always look squint. Secondly, when screwing together the lamp holder to hold it all together do not over tighten as you cannot get them apart again. Thirdly, the glass dome is so fragile I managed to break one trying to unpack it. Spare glass is reasonably hard to track down and cost me £25 or so. Saying all that with patience etc they look lovely once in place but expensive and tricky to install.
