As i've got older the need to take in extra protein can feel really hard work. So I thought I'd supplement with whey protein to avoid losing muscle. I bought this isolate after finding the concentrate too heavy. I chose the unflavoured as it tends to have slightly more protein and wanted to be able to use it in variety of things eg coffee or shakes. Well this is not at all heavy but does have a malty powdery flavour which can overwhem coffee and fruits. But having experimented with spices and extracts such as vanilla and almond this works well. PRO TIP to help mix in with fluids - mix dry ingredients together with the whey whilst dry, then add a small amount of cold milk or water. Mix to a paste and add a bit more fluid. If making coffee or a shake, only add hot water or milk or cold fluid at that point along with any wet ingredients . This takes a bit of doing but the result is lump free unless you add in any lumpy stuff 😁. I never have to add any sugar just add a tiny pinch of salt and it makes for a great taste experience, which makes having to have extra protein in older age a very satisfying tasty experience.

Seems decent, got unflavoured since it has less additives! 3 stars as the packaging was dirty, looked as tho it was thrown around the warehouse then taken from the back of the pile but overall decent product so far

Really happy with this whey protein isolate by Bulk, the powder mixes really well with water and is easy to drink, the texture is smooth and there is no lumps. I have been buying from the brand 'Bulk' for some time now and i've got to say, I am so happy with their products, great value! Highly recommend.

This review is purely for the taste of the unflavoured version, this does not reflect whether or not there is any benefit from it. I'll get the pro's out of the way first. It mixes pretty well, you only need 200ml of water so you don't have to consume a large amount, and has 27g of protein (I went for unflavoured as it has about 2g protein extra per serving). The taste, please don't listen to other reviewers saying it tastes good, etc. These must be either employees, bigging up the company or those who like drinking powdered rancid dog milk. I know you don't drink protein shakes for the flavour but this is just beyond filth. Avoid the unflavoured version at all costs. I have ordered a strawberry version so I will update this review after trying it, as I'm binning the unflavoured as soon as the new one arrives. *UPDATE* Strawberry arrived and tried. Doesn't seem to mix as well, few lumps still in the mix but this seems to be pretty standard with powders. Taste is better, maybe 2* but still has that underlying taste of the unflavoured powder. It's overly sweetened. I've just been holding my nose and necking it! I don't like the idea of mixing it with other things to enhance the flavour as it should be palatable without having to add extras. Overall, poor taste but high protein for only 200ml so worth the odd bit of retching!

E' la seconda volta che la prendo e devo dire che quella non aromatizzata è molto meglio di quella al cioccolato, per esempio. Per tutti quelli che scrivono nelle recensioni che non si scioglie: si tratta di una polvere, per di piu un pochino grassa, quindi per farla sciogliere dovete mettere un po di liquido nella polvere, non il contrario, e mischiare con un cucchiaino. Si formerà una sorta di crema che andrà diluita ancora fino ad ottenere la densità voluta. Questo procedimento vale per qualunque liquido (caffè, latté, acqua, etc)

Der Proteingehalt liegt laut Hersteller bei rund neunzig Prozent, was für mich klar zeigt, dass es sehr hoch angesetzt und bewusst clean gehalten ist. Zucker und Fett sind entsprechend niedrig, der Geschmack komplett neutral. Genau das mag ich daran. Es hat keinen Eigengeschmack, nichts Süßes, nichts Künstliches. Ich mische meine Aromen lieber selbst dazu, entweder mit Flavordrops oder Flavour Powder, oder nutze es ganz neutral zum Backen oder für herzhafte Rezepte. Auch im Shake funktioniert es problemlos. Die Löslichkeit ist sehr gut. Es rührt sich sauber ein, klumpt kaum und bleibt gleichmäßig. Nach kurzer Zeit wird der Shake etwas sämiger, was ich angenehm finde, weil er dadurch fluffiger wird und sich gut trinken lässt. Inhaltlich handelt es sich um ein ultra-gefiltertes Molkenisolat mit vollständigem Aminosäurenprofil, inklusive der typischen BCAAs wie Leucin, Isoleucin und Valin. Es sind keine zugesetzten Süßstoffe oder Aromen enthalten, was für mich ein klarer Pluspunkt ist. Laut Hersteller liegt die empfohlene Portionsgröße bei etwa 30 Gramm Pulver. Die 500-Gramm-Packung reicht damit für rund 16 bis 17 Portionen beziehungsweise Tage, wenn man einen Shake pro Tag nutzt.
