WWII US WW2 Army M1 Helmet Steel Shell with Net/Canvas Chin Strap DIY Painting

Bought this for a reenactment in my class. Students loved it and took turns wearing it. Solid construction, not some cheap, plastic imitation. I tore up the netting, added some bumps, cuts, and divots, plus some mud to add for effect. I also bought a stencil and added divisional markings to it, plus rank in the front. Now it looks like it went through the Battle of the Bulge. Great purchase.

Needed a WW2 helmet for a Saving Private Ryan cosplay and this is spot on. Comes with a net which I didn’t need and two stickers for the shapes seen on the back. Hefty weight and very sturdy.

Great quality, I think its original weight, and the Spade & Captain symbol on the helmet are just cheap stickers you apply yourself (dont bother). Also the chin strap isnt original.
