This is such a good product and while it is expensive, you only need a small amount. Once you dry your hair, it feels silky smooth. I would give it 6 stars if it were available.

I have very long blonde hair that I color every 5 weeks. It started to show damage after 18 months of dyeing. I saw this product, tried it, and it truly reduced breakage. It is expensive but what worked for me was using an amount about the size of a quarter, and rubbing it in between my palms with a couple drops of water, then thoroughly moisturizing it into my damp hair, then combing. It prolongs the luster, strength and overall health of my hair.

Wow! The Kerasilk Restorative Balm gave me near Instant results. I applied it to one side of my hair only, so I could compare it to the side I didn't use t on. The The Kerasilk Restorative Balm made my hair softer, fuller, and healthier looking. No joke. I applied it to dry, freshly washed hair, and the difference this made was noticeable even to my husband, who isn't all that observant when it comes to any beauty treatments that involve me. I do think the difference is dramatic enough to make this worth the purchase price. It's worth trying at least once to see how it works for you. I have thick hair that's extremely fine. I'm really happy with this product. I'm almost amazed at how how quickly it worked and what a dramatic change it made to my hair. There's not that much out there, in beauty solutions, that delivers instant gratification. This is an exception.

My hair has taken a beating from coloring, heat, sunscreen, choline... More than anything, I need a haircut, but since I haven't made the time to do that, this balm is helping me quite a bit until then! I have a lot of frizz and flyaways that this helps control, really does combat the frizz I get from having wavy, untamed hair that really must be styled everyday (and I don't really want to style it everyday). Not greasy and really helps soften up my dry ends. I can easily run my fingers through my hair when using this product. The scent is lovely! And it sticks around so my hair smells nice after using (I usually can't smell my shampoo/conditioner for long). Really is a high end product - and at $32, is about 1/2 the cost of a similar product I've gotten at the salon.

Let me start with smells fabulous, really I did like it a lot. I didn’t need much for my medium long hair to feel product and really get to see results. What I loved the most is really healthy and smooth looking hair after just first use, got the nice shine, not the greasy one but the good looking one, just felt different right after I used blow dryer. I mean just the feeling along is worth using it but it does look healthy and it’s healing with fizz and just overall brushing

I am torn about this product. Kerasilk advertises it as "free from sulphates, dyes, microplastics, mineral oils, and parabens." It feels nice on the hair, but these claims are concerning. According to the Environmental Working Group, dimethicone and phenyl trimethicone are silicon-based polymers. That's going down only to the 3rd and fourth ingredient. (Water is the first.) Silicones are in everything and approved to be in make-up and a wide range of beauty and skincare products. I use many products which contain silicone, so I'm not saying that a product is inferior because it includes silicone on the ingredient list. Take that with a grain of salt. My greater issues are actually the alcohol and fragrances in this product. We're not talking about stearyl alcohol (or "fatty alcohol" used as an emollient). It is straight up alcohol which can be damaging to (and dry out) hair and skin. Regarding fragrances, it is so hard to find hair products without them! (The smell is strong to me, but it will fade by the next time you are ready to wash your hair.)

Smells good, albeit a bit more fragranced than I'd like on a product that's going to be rubbing against my skin as I keep my irritation risk low by preferring non-fragranced, BUT it does smell nice so I guess if I'm going to risk a reaction at least it's tolerable. VERY reminiscent of famous bum bum cream SdJ scent. Too soon to see any undeniable benefits yet, I honestly don't see much of a difference but will update if I ever happen to see enough of a glow-up to repurchase. Small bottle, pretty color. Instructions for use are on the bottle for easy reference, super simple at "apply to damp or dry hair" 🤷‍♀️ almost too simple. I am unfamiliar with the market for this particular item and thus cannot assess "value for product" sufficiently. First impressions, will update if I find further benefits or issues w/ more use in the future.
