High Quality Grooming tool for show animals
One of the greatest grooming tools we have ever used to cut the hair on our show goats. Its sleek design and comfort in hand, help make grooming animals efficient and easy. The blades are extreme sharp and ergonomic when using and are extremely durable in most conditions. Clippers for show animals can get extremely expensive, but this set of clippers are very reasonably priced for the quality of product your getting. We will never buy another brand of clippers for our show animals.

Solid basic clippers
I have 4 standard poodles and grooming them has gotten ridiculously expensive so decided to learn to do it myself. My old groomer recommended these clippers with a size 3c and 5c blade to do just a basic close cut until I get the hang of it. The clippers go through even thick overgrown hair easily although they do get rather hot as most clippers do so you’ll want to purchase cooling spray to keep on hand to avoid razor burns. They don’t sound any louder than other brands and I’ve used them multiple times on 4 dogs so they seem pretty reliable.

Really good clipper
This is a really great clipper. I taught myself how to groom my dog due to the increasing price of taking her to a groomer and the unhappiness she felt every time she had to go. This is an easy to use clipper it doesn’t get too hot, but you do have to check it after about 10 minutes it’s not loud at all and it’s easy to handle. The cord is nice and long and I’m very happy I chose this.

Solid Pet Clippers
I’m a vet tech of many years and I have 7 cats and 3 doggos. My cats are of varying ages and I have had different trimmers over the years for various needs (clipping wounds, matted fur, etc). I bought these specifically because I have an 11 year old long-haired female cat who doesn’t groom very well anymore and she mats in all the most annoying places (hock, under armpits, under her neck). I’ve never spent this much on clippers but I have used Andis brand while working in a clinic and always thought they were pretty solid clippers. This pair is pretty solid and cut through the bulk of my cats hair with no issues but it does overheat and fairly fast in my opinion. I wish I would have bought a separate blade for this issue alone, but I do plan on getting another soon to swap them out and still be able to continue trimming. They are easy to swap out and clean, thankfully. My cats fur is very soft and “whispy” on her underside and I had difficulty cutting through those areas where her skin is very delicate, the blade nicked her once in a sensitive area and created a wound. Overall, these are very nice clippers but for the price I think I expected them to be better. 4/5 only because of how fast they got hot. Still a solid buy and I would recommend to people if they are looking for a more mid-range level trimmer without completely breaking the bank. Some of the top of the line grooming clippers, like Heiniger, can be INSANELY expensive. Don’t buy cheap clippers, your pets will def suffer. *Cat Tax (Buffy pictured, after her trim)

Works on thick, longhair Siberian Cat fur beautifully!
omg FINALLY i have a clipper that works on my cat!! I;ve tried several other cheaper options that claim to be good for a thick dog coat (very little listings mention thick cat fur which sucks) and they have all clogged and been useless immediately. I bought this clipper and a 3 pack of 7F blades plus a bottle of blade oil. I pre-lubed all 3 blades, got my long hair triple coat cat up on the counter, and was miraculously able to give her a full shave down in less than 15 minutes, at least 5 of which was spent on me fumbling how to change the blade out quickly (but it is very easy once you see how, you have to make sure the little plastic bit that goes back in forth is in the right spot for it to click in all the way). This was a task that typically took me 2-3 hours with the subpar clippers i've used in the past (and traumatized my poor cat with, lol). We were both so much happier with this clipper for her fur. She is a triple coated cat breed, a Siberian Forest Cat, and she doesn't like to groom her fur so she gets matted and raggedy looking very quickly. She also hates being brushed, so clipping her fur down to a pajama cut (look it up, its adorable!) is what works best for her. But it used to be a frustrating ordeal. I am so glad these clippers worked so well! I ended up only needing to use 2 of the blades for the groom session, and had to swap out because the first got too clogged with fur, not because it got too hot. It was definitely warm, but i could hold it on my skin and it wasnt painful at all, so the andis brand blade oil worked great. As far as noise level, I think it is pretty typical for clippers - not crazy loud, but it has a buzz to it. They were comfortable to hold even while trying to wrangle my cat to lay on her back for the few moments I needed. I can't speak to longevity but since it is a corded unit, I think as long as the blades are cared for properly it will last a very long time.

Great Clipper!
Great for grooming my dog! Well-made. Runs well. Not noisy--my dog doesn't mind the sound. Easy to use and store.

Good blade but overheats quickly and doesn't have attachment combs
These clippers cut really well. However, they get hot extremely quick. I did buy an additional blade to be able to change out while clipping my pet which does help. Another issue I have is that I've purchased other Andis clippers and they always come with attachment combs, from inexpensive to expensive clippers. I'm not sure why this does not have the standard attachment combs included. I rated this three because of the overheating and the fact that this does not come with attachment combs and for the price it should.

Heats up really fast but works wonderfully
Works wonderfully for my doodles but I cannot groom them both in one sitting or even back to back due to the clippers heating up way too fast. After about 10 minutes or less of using them, they heat up to the point it burns them and I have to give it almost half an hour to cool before I can continue. Other than that, it is very durable and easy to use. It isn’t too heavy and the cord is easy to maneuver during grooming. It isn’t too loud either which was a plus. I feel it was worth it but I do wish it didn’t heat up as quickly as it does…
