HAWK’S WORK F450 Drone Frame, 450mm Wheelbase Quadcopter Frame Kit with Landing Skid Gear (Standard)

I'm building my first DIY drone from an expensive kit. I'm first going to use this frame and learn with it. When I am experienced and confident I will rebuild with the more expensive carbon fiber frame from the kit. Good value for the price and all that.

Great if you know what you’re doing

This frame kit is quit inexpensive, works great with the suggested motors. I went with 40amp ESCs, and used an fpv flight controller I already had. Along with vtx and Rx. Made for a super cheap build, fun so far! I will be getting another most likely just to build another one slightly different.

This is a great base to start your drone build. I have been wanting to start one for a long time and now I can. I was a bit drawn back at first with the parts being plastic, but it was surprisingly sturdy. Now I just need to purchase the remaining components and crash test it. Assembly was a breeze, and you have extra hardware included for affixing the other components.

This is a good frame made with durable parts for your own drone build. You're not going to make a sub 250g drone with this as the frame is taking up a lot of your weight already and with the larger size is geared towards putting more power on it. That's not a problem as you probably are going for a speed demon rather than a cruiser. This should get you up and running with a solid base to build from. The rest is up to you.

I bought the pre-soldered version because I wanted to cut down on the things I needed to solder. This frame is close to the original DJI version of this frame. XT60 connectors were soldered great.

What a brilliant starter kit to learn. Paired with 4 separate esc, 4 motors and a KK2.1.5 flight controller, able to reach my grandson simple building, soldering and flying. Frame is a bit heavy for anything other than hobby, and anything faster than a light breeze makes it difficult to control
