Window washing should be hard and unpleasant and when finished, very unsatisfactory. That's why "I don't do windows" is a common mantra. I live in a house that had to be especially insulated to meet city code because I have more windows in my moderate sized home than has the Trump Tower. Nowadays everyone's yard man uses a high velocity blower to move all the dirt, dust and debris into the air and all around the neighborhood...so my windows accumulate a good coating of dirt from minutes after they are cleaned. Window services want about a months mortgage to clean my windows. I thought I'd give it a try, doing a few at a time and save myself the price of a new big screen tv. Glass cleaning with microfiber cloths seemed to be the way to go according to stuff I read on the internet, so I went to Amazon for product. Here's what I learned: clean your windows with a damp or wet rag...cotton will do and so will your car wash mitt...even just a high pressure garden hose with a sponge mop. Get em free of dirt. THEN, with this wonderful pack of cloths, wipe off any runs, drips, or residual dirt with the green cloth and follow up immediately, with the blue, with just enough pressure to wipe off any water beads. You can rub any tough spots with the green, but the blue is simply to wipe off the water...a very light touch and only enough passes to wipe off the water. Be sure to rinse your green cloths and wring out excess water so you don't just smear accumulated dirt on subsequent windows, and use a new blue when the current one shows signs of wet. You cannot do better with window cleaner, squeegees, newspaper, vinegar or any of the other things us older folks have used for years. These microfiber cloths are fantastic if you do my three step method. Not so sure about other brands, I did buy a large pack of other microfiber cloths but they ended up being used for step 1. This is a great product!

Skeptical but decided to give these a try, especially since the sprays and methods I've been trying have left me frustrated in my quest for streak-free, lint-free windows. Well, these work! Just as described. I am impressed at how easy and quickly I get clean, streak-free windows & mirrors the first time out with these cloths. Seems to effortless, but - well worth it.

Very good option to keep IN THE VEHICLE for road trips? I like that all you need is water on the green towel and a quick pass with the blue. No chemicals! I find it odd they supply only the one green though since it's doing the heavy lifting. It cleans better than certain name brand cleaners b/c there is literally NO SMUDGE or residue. But there is one cleaner I found which leaves glass looking almost invisible which I find is much better inside and outside for the windows when pretty dirty. I had never cleaned the sunroof glass and this green towel would not have gotten very dirty in that application. So keep in mind there may be limits.

I must admit that I was skeptical that these would work. I have tried at least a dozen window cleaners over the past few years only to be disappointed…again. We have a lot of windows. BIG windows. Tall windows. I love the natural lighting and the views but cleaning them was a disappointment regardless of what I tried. Cleaning the inside and outside requires a ladder for several. Thinking you have a good outcome only to see streaks. Even with working with a partner (one inside and one outside) pointing to questionable areas still resulted in streaks and smudges. I figured what the heck I would give this a try. We had just hand new windows installed with reflective glass since the biggest windows are on the East and West side of the house to reduce the heat of summer. (Windows work great, provide more privacy and definitely reduced the heat and will reduce sun fade but that’s another story) This system is easy and chemically free which is important on windows with reflective glass as instructions for cleaning and care specify nothing with vinegar or ammonia products. The green cloth I rinsed in warm tap water (yes, we do have a water softener), wrung out that cloth and starting at the top wiped the window paying attention to corners and edges to be sure I had wiped the whole area. The using the blue cloth dry started back again at the top and paying the same attention to edges and corners wiped dry the window. Beautiful! No smudges, smears, streaks, fibers or lint on the window. I tossed the cloths into the washer then the dryer and I’m ready to go again. These even did a good job on removing dog nose and toddler finger smears.

This is the only product that gets my shower doors spotless. We have a window in the shower shining on the glass doors. We tried everything to get them clear. This is a great product.

I couldn't wait to try the cloth on my vanity mirrors and it worked magic -- just water, no streak and spotless, much better than Windex. I liked it so much and bought another set for a friend.
