I hurt my left knee in 2019 and had two times hydrocortisone shots and it helped me feel better for the years but it started to hurt again and I don’t feel like having another shot so I was looking for the knee brace which I had tried for years but it didn’t help much so I was checking on other better knee brace that people recommended. I found this knee brace is my life saver! It eased my knee pain once I was on it. I can walk normally and feel good again. It is very comfortable. The knee gel cap really helped support my knee and I hope by doing the knee strengthening exercises will help me feel better one day and I don’t have to wear it . You do need to measure your thighs to get your right size.

Very sturdy, feels supportive and it doesn’t roll down or move around. Stays in place. It looks like some people had a skin reaction to the gripping material on the inside, but I wear it all the time to work out and no reaction. Love that I can wear it directly on skin and it doesn’t cause friction or anything.

I am a plus size 40-year old ice hockey player. I am honestly super impressed with this product—I had low expectation since most sports things for plus size people suck royally. I have played about a dozen hockey games in this brace now, including one tournament (4 games in 72 hours), and this brace seems to stay put, give me the support I need, and has held up for a couple washes now. I am kind of holding out to see how LONG it lasts—elastic things tend to lose their stretchiness quickly—but for now, well worth it. A knee brace staying put through a hockey game is a pretty notable achievement—didn’t slide down, didn’t shift or turn. I will say it’s a little warmer than I’d like it to be, but I suspect I might be trading coolness for the compression required to keep it in place during a high-impact activity. (Worth noting: in hockey, I wear it under my compressive leggings, and my shin guard, and my sock, and my sock tape… so maybe that helps keep it in place, but my hockey socks slouch down all the time whereas the brace stays put.)

Based on the sizing instructions and other reviews , I ordered an XL. Upon receiving, I could tell that it was going to be too large. It slid on very easy but not much “compression “. As soon as I started moving, it slid down below my knee cap. I contacted customer support and they sent me a size L which I quickly received! It fits perfectly and provides excellent support with no slippage when moving. It’s very well made and is comfortable to wear.

First and foremost: There is absolutely nothing wrong with the design and functionality of this product. It was a life saver for me the first couple of days I had my knee injury. My problem with the product - and why I rated it a three versus a five star - came after the first couple of days. My problem was that I needed to wear the brace for most of the day. By the end of the third day I was getting abrasion marks on my kneecap due to the product's knee hole being closed by a fabric. I did find in the instruction book a secondary sleeve that you could put on before you put on the brace which seems like overkill and only another way to have more abrasion points on different parts of your knee as the inner sleeve rubs against the brace. I switched to a different model that had an open hole over the kneecap. Again, this may just have been in my case and others, especially those that don't wear the brace continuously, may not have a problem with this product. I just wanted people aware of the problem I had. I doubt I could have continued to wear the device many more days.

My second knee brace, regrettably. Now both knees match and feel śecure. Very comfortable and hold your knee secure.

I only buy the "upgraded version" and I just ordered my eighth one. Both knees trashed and offer xtra support. They fit better and don't stretch out... Service is great they care offered a refund if I was unhappy My last review I had thought rec. two units before but I was wrong. Thank you PS Get more colors in "upgraded vers."

I own a variety of knee braces thanks to crappy knees and worn out cartilage and barely perceptible meniscus. Most often I can just get by wearing a sleeve, but occasionally when I've overdone it the day before, I'll need some stiff support for a week while the knee heals back to its baseline. I bought this brace to fill the gap between the super-duty brace with the external metal parts and just the fabric sleeve, and because it was the much cheaper alternative to the Bauerfeind which after years of use became worn out and finally had to be put to rest. This brace is well made, thick, and has great elastic recoil and does a great job with compression. The compression and heat that it provide definitely helps my knee feel better and with the thicker material and internal ribbing, has more stability and structure than just a simple sleeve. That being said, the stability offered by the side ribs is about average. Nothing particularly amazing. It's better than having nothing, but not by a huge margin. It's noticeable, but not amazing, and not even close to what the Bauerfeind offered. The patella pad kind-of helps stabilize my kneecap, but again, just barely. However, both of the internal ribs and patella cushion are soft and squishy and doesn't have any pinch points. From looking at the pictures I thought for some reason they were removable, but they're sewn in. Of course, this particular brace is a copy of the ridiculously expensive Bauerfeind knee braces. When comparing between the two, it's clearly evident that this one sold at a fraction of the price is a good copy, but it's just not as good. The most noticeable difference is that the knee pad isn't as comfortable or as supportive as the more expensive original. The lateral support is definitely not as strong either. For the price I paid, I'm satisfied with what I received and it functions well, but I'm going to save up and buy the original because that truly is noticeably better and I really miss how quicker my knee recovered and how much more supportive it was.
