This is the exact design of a terrarium I was looking for- super minimal looking and a great viewing experience! I don’t believe this is advertised to hold water, but I silicone sealed all around the bottom and a bit up the back along the frame. It’s held water just fine after sealing. The lock is very dainty, but if you’re gentle with the door and lock it correctly it seems like it’ll be fine. I actually like the lock design since you can’t spot it easy when you’re viewing the terrarium. This holds humidity awesome even without sitting water, the begonia (sp sarawak) requires ~98% and has been growing great in here for a couple weeks now. I’ll have to try and find the same one in a larger size to upgrade it to, maybe even add more plants and detritivores.

Beautiful enclosure, and very easy to open and close. Holds enough humidity for a terrarium, but also allows airflow for anything else.

I love this little glass case. It is well made and the door works well despite what others have said in their reviews. Because it is hand made, the door will not create a perfect seal unless you add silicone strips around the perimeter. It is the perfect height for hanging 7 tiny ghost orchids growing on a strip of burlap and provides the perfect humid environment they need. Please note that I sealed the inside of the base with silicone, starting just below the door, to ensure that it does not leak. I am now considering getting a second one (one size larger) for some of my other aerial orchids that also require a humid and protected environment.

Well made and very nice. Decent value and a good size. Due to the construction it does not have a strong seal around the door, which is fine and not unexpected, but if you live in a desert climate with low humidity keep in mind that you will need to spray your terrarium pretty regularly.

I love these, and highly recommend them for anyone else who wants to make more terrariums. They are absolutely perfect for placing on a table, a shelf, bookcase, just about anywhere, even a desk! This company wraps them up very well, not one even suffered a dent! I want more! I want to fill my home with beautiful things! They come fast, well packed, and ready for you to create!

Worked great for my moss terrariums! There's a small gap in between the door and the main frame, but it's not enough to lose humidity. I have a philodendron cordatum and a string of frogs in two of these and they're both extremely happy! The cordatum's humidity is so high that it started pushing out fuzzy aerial roots as well! I didn't encounter any leaks or cracks in mine, they're really sturdy.

**Update: The seller was extremely prompt in rectifying the issue, was immediately send a replacement of better quality, I would recommend purchasing the product. Terribly made, literally just falling apart. Nice design poorly crafted. It should be a crime to be able to sell this especially for the price.

I make forrest type terrariums....these are beautiful. They come packaged securely and last years. Not sure what any of the negative reviews are about... I normally by their stuff from etsy where they have wonderful 'how to' videos for constructing various style ecosystems. Definitely look into their red clay that let's you mount plants, branches, rocks, etc.,....suspending things to the side of the glass...I buy pounds of the stuff from them. Anyway, the owners are honest kind and helpful and make a great product. Definitely check them out.

Excellent produit.

The quality is great and it's the advertised size. If you have humid-loving plants inside, you will have to mist it daily due to small gaps when the door is closed (inavoidable due to the type of material). On the plus size, the airflow around the door from those same gaps prevents the glass from completely fogging up. I'll be buying more from this company
