Got this $10 cleaner instead of a $450 robot window cleaner. Not perfect but not sorry!
I was about to splurge on an ECOVACS WINBOT W2 PRO OMNI Window Cleaning Robot that was on sale for $450 on Amazon. My first doubt was the Winbot cleaner is $25/liter you can only buy the official version from the manufacturer if you don't want to void the warranty. Second doubt was it only comes with two pad and you have to change them a lot. Third doubt was imagining moving the robot from window to window all over the house. Then I came across the Windex outdoors product and bought it instead. OK, Windex outdoors isn't perfect. But it's fast and you don't have to remove the screens, you just shoot the water right through the screens using your hose and the bottle attachmente and it cleans the screens too. Obviously, it only cleans the outdoor windows, not the indoor windows. But, 95% of the dirt is outdoors. I notice some spotting, especially under the screens. But, but the best way to think about this is that Windex outdoors will make your windows look like they would a few days after a professional cleaning when they are going to get dirty again anyway. I haven't cleaned my windows in over a year, so I'm way ahead of the game with the Windex. I have a large single story house and it will take 2 or 3 bottles to do the whole house. But it's a lot cheaper than hiring a cleaning service. And as I said, it's been over a year since I last cleaned them. It's also kind of fun to use. Way more fun than cleaning windows by hand. I was concerned about plants, but everything I read says it's ok if not sprayed directly on plants, just hose the plants off a bit with water after if you are worried. So I did that. All in all, if this product looks interesting to you, give it a try! Don't expect perfection but it is WAY better than dirty windows.

Did the job well!
Very impressed with this product. It was so easy to use, attach to hose and twist the tab. I cleaned 9 windows (2 were patio sliding windows) plus I have some left over from one bottle for about 2-3 more. Will buy this product again.

Removed Dirt and Left Windows Shiny
Easy directions and easy to use. Did an okay job but even after doing the upstairs twice I could still see parts that weren’t clean. Quick fix for high windows as they do look better and shinier after use.

Effortlessly cleans and shines exterior windows!
This product works great. I just stroll around the house and squirt the windows. Leaving the screens on and all. After rinse, they dry clean and shiny.

Fantastic!!
We have skylights and a 22' high living room window and lots of other windows. Our previous home had all double sash tilt-in windows which were easily washed from the inside. We moved three years ago and our new home has many casement, fixed windows, and skylights. The tilt-in windows are difficult to use and to top it off they are 20-years old and are starting to chalk. The chalking is a problem when hand-washing because if your towel gets into the frame you wipe the chalk all over your glass and it is not the easiest thing to get off. It winds up leaving a haze on the window. After calling several window cleaning companies and never receiving a call back I decided to figure out what I could do on my own and found this product. The reviews seemed decent, so I decided to give it a try. All I can say is wow. I am sold, this stuff is amazing! The instructions say in hard water areas to squeegee. Since the windows had not been cleaned for 5 or more years, I used a Doca Poll (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07HGJW1LS?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details) with a scrubby Doca 'broom' head (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Y2DHDWF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) after applying the soap, then rinsed as normal. We live in a rural wooded area, so the windows on the back of my house had a lot of pollen, and bird poo. The windows of the front of my home seem to have been etched with by hard water and chemical pollutants, so I squeegeed those windows to help them not streak. I cleaned windows for 3 and 3/4 hours and by the end was fairly tired so I just did a quick scrub and rinse. All the windows look amazing. Better than any window job I have ever done! I ordered more to have it on hand because it is so easy to use. Now when we have storms that leave tree residue and dirt, bird splats, etc. I can just go give them a quick wash. As others have said, this must be done on a cloudy day to be successful. Any sun will cause the soap to dry too quickly and leave a residue. If you are not satisfied with this product I would guess you did something wrong and most likely used it on a sunny day. My windows were an absolute dirty mess and came out beautifully.

This is for light cleaning ONLY!!
Ok -- I'm going to do my best to give a lot of detail and be completely fair. We live near the beach. Like, 75 yards away in a straight line and we can see the water from our front and back porches. Beach air is a thing. Our house is new construction. ALL of our windows in the whole house are big. Like, 4 ft tall X 6 ft wide. ALL of them. (Well, I take that back. The two on each side of the back door are only 4 ft X 4 ft). So there are a lot of individual panes. This is the first cleaning after construction. And we are (basically) on the beach. I followed the instructions EXACTLY. I was careful with the timing (at least 20 seconds of cleaner) and I was careful with the recommended soak time (about 3-5 minutes), and very careful to not allow the cleaner to dry on the windows. The first pass -- I'll write that one off to me not fully understanding the process. The second pass -- I started noticing a pattern. (I started with the 2 giant windows in our corner bedroom). The top of the panes seem to clean well (or at least better) as compared to the bottom of each individual pane. I thought that was really strange, given that I was extremely careful to make sure I put the same amount of cleaner on each part of the pane. But, gravity is a thing, and it all ran down the pane. But -- that would make you think that the BOTTOM would be cleaner. But -- nope. The tops of each pane are noticeably claner. Third pass -- I then moved on to the big window in our living room. (We have a giant front porch that goes the full length of the house, so all of these front windows are not ever exposed to direct rain/sun/etc.) .. The living room window --- it is ...OK...at best. It was not as bad as the bedroom windows. It is ok -- but it still shows the same pattern --- the top of each pane is cleaner than the bottoms. The reason that I'm trying to use this instead of cleaning each window manually is 1) The size and number of windows, 2) I am a total clutz trying to climb on a ladder for these 8 gigantic windows, and 3) we have security bars that will make trying to reach in to get the individual panes a real....well...pain. (The bars would take longer to remove than the cleaning would take.) My next attempt will involve possibly using a miniature mop (like the ones used with giant BBQ grills) to reach between the bars to wipe each window after the cleaner is sprayed on. THEN rinse. But, that kinda defeats the purpose and is not what is advertised by the manufacturer. So, in all, I probably won't buy this again. BUT -- I WILL definitely keep the bottles (the spray mechanism is pretty awesome) and make my own cleaner to go into them. If I'm going to have to do extra work anyway, it doesn't make sense to pay more for a substance that doesn't alleviate that need, even though it advertises that it will. TLDR: Good, but not great. Tops always cleaner than bottoms. Repeat application seems to help, but isn't consistent with the results that the manufacturer claims.

The stuff works great, the spray nozzle does, too.
I used it on all the windows around the house. I also cleaned our patio table with it. The stuff works great, the spray nozzle does, too. Cleans up windows nicely.

Crystal Clear Exterior Window Cleaning Magic
amazing product. I had used this years ago and couldn’t find it in the stores anymore. I was so happy that I could buy it on Amazon. We have a whole lengthy wall of floor to ceiling windows and every spring and fall, I have been hand washing the windows with an extendable squeegee and window cleaner. This is because I do not want to pay for professional window cleaning, which is very costly. My results took all day and the windows weren’t as clear as I wanted. This spring I had enough other projects to do that again. I did not want to spend a whole day on window cleaning so I hooked up the Windex cleaner to our hose turned the water pressure on about halfway, took off the little yellow cap and started to clean and rinse. In a matter of an hour I had all of the windows cleaned, including a whole other side of the house that has more standard windows and the upstairs which has very difficult to reach windows, and I don’t think they’ve ever been cleaned since before or after we have moved in here. Literally had black water running down the side of the house when I cleaned the upstairs windows. The results were great crystal clear views outside and a lot less wear and tear on this DIY’er. A great value and time saver for beautiful windows. I still have 1/4 of the bottle left and another one unused…very economical.
