The media could not be loaded. This thing is simply plug-and-play! I decided to vapor barrier my entire crawlspace myself after getting an $8k quote. I did this for about $1k thanks to this dehumidifier and some 20mil plastic on Amazon. I was able to carry it down into my crawlspace pretty easily with the built-in handles and connected the provided hose to my crawlspace drain system. It's quiet and I could see the humidity levels drop immediately. I CAN'T hear this in my home at all from under the floors.

This is the most terrible experience I ever have with Amazon and SAHAUHY. . On July 15th 2023, I bought a dehumidifier( SAHAUHY 158 Pints Commercial Dehumidifier) through Amazon for my basemen. It works fine for the first 9 months, after that I found the bottom part of the diffuser stopped working and the frost start piling up on the diffuser. Therefore, the ice can not be melted into water properly. It did not take the moisture out from my basement while exhaust fan still blowing on the upper part of the diffuser. Then two months after that I found that the machine totally stop working with a ” HI “ sign on the LED panel. I follow the instruction manual conduct the reset couple times, but it fails to come back ever since. This machine when I purchase was with 5 years warranty from manufacturer, so I start calling Service center of Amazon try to reach the manufacturer several times. I got no effective help from Amazon services I also send out e-mail through SAHAUHY chatting blog see if any of my request can be responded …. No response so far but I'm still waiting. Hopefully my problem can be solved or the machine can be replaced.

I had my HVAC guy install the unit in my attic & duct it in & out of my loft, while draining into the existing A/C condensate drain. It keeps the humidity level at the desired setting, it is very quiet, and is virtually maintenance free. I've used it for almost a year now. It is a great value & I am very happy with it.

This dehumidifier worked great and the company honored the 5-year warranty.

After contemplating different, more expensive brands, I came across this model while scrolling through Amazon one evening. The reviews and price point all seemed too good to be real. After watching a few videos on line, I decided to give it a try and install it in my homes crawlspace. Within 36 hrs my crawlspace RH dropped from 88% to 56% and now everything under the house is nice and dry.

We bought a house with an old basement and craw space. This dehumidifier worked well for about a year until the motor started making a loud sound and then locked up. Manufacturer has not responded to inquiries about a replacement since they boast a 5 year warranty.

Bought in July 23. It is doing it's job for now, but it has started making a different noise here recently. I was cleaning the filter when I noticed the pan is full of rust. Which started pretty early. The drain hose has been tinted orange pretty much the entire time I have had it. So it will likely leak soon but who knows when.Edit to update: 1 year and 3 months later. Something in there is really making a loud noise now that gets progressively louder. To the point you have to shut it off. Not sure what it is. Rust has gotten worse but hasn’t rusted through the pan yet.Edit to update 2 days after previous update: it grenaded itself today. No response yet from email to company to get warranty work. Supposedly there is a 5 year warranty.

I bought this dehumidifier in August of 2023. It took the moisture out and held a lower humidity level in my basement than the portable unit that it replaced.When our heating season started, I washed the filter out, and stored the unit.When I started it up this spring, it wouldn’t pull any moisture out of the air. I emailed Sahauhy’s customer service. We exchanged videos several times trying to get it to work, but in the end, they are sending me a new unit. They are timely in their replies and eager to resolve the issues.
