Lamplig Stainless Steel 50 cm X 28 cm Trivet with Plastic Anti Slip Feet

These are really good, cost effective, great way of keeping stuff off the worktop, so good I ordered another couple after receiving them (hopefully its a different delivery company this time, see note below). Ordered a couple, delivery company (the one which just rebranded to 4 letters) didn't deliver, told the seller who provided excellent customer service to get resolved quickly.

I bought this because we had new kitchen fitted with a granite worktop and the advice was if in doubt, put roasting trays from the oven on a trivet, not directly on the granite. Looks good, works well. The plastic feet were a bit of a pain to get on and I had to bend it a little bit to get it so that it didn't rock on the kitchen worktop (which is perfectly flat and level). The trivet can slide if a roasting dish is placed on it from the side, so I am careful to place items on it from directly above. Once a roasting dish is on the trivet, it doesn't move. Holds all my roasting dishes, not big enough for a pizza stone though (mine is 15 inches wide). As to the Ikea question ... this does look the same as an Ikea product costing £4. Does that matter? Nope. Why? Because it would cost me way more than £6 in time and petrol to drive 40 miles to the nearest Ikea. If I was going to one anyway I would get it from there, but I wasn't and needed one so paying £10 is fine. Especially as that is an insignificantly small price to pay for having something immediately to use with grante that I really don't want to crack on the first use.

I have rated this trivet 5 stars as it is just what you need for hot pans to protect the worktop and it is light and easy to pop away in your saucepan drawer if you are not using it. It has non slip feet which stop it moving around. Ideal for stone/granite/wooden worktops to protect them.

Even though it's weight is lighter than I expected, I'm still pleased with it as I sit it across the back two rings on my cooker as I'm limited on surface space. Obviously, not when the hob is on. This way when I take a tray from a hot oven it can sit on the cooker to cool without damaging the hob. Like the fact it is a double hot plate, perfect for oven trays. It arrived quickly in the post without issue. Good value for a good product.

Arrived bent.cant use as wont lie straight. A total wast of money. Very light weight Terrible Do not order!

Product arrived on time looks good,but very light but does the job and not very expensive.

I did wonder if they would be up for the job being so cheap I’ve had them a few months now and no fear of them falling apart excellent value better than some top end ones in fact I’m going to buy another one as an additional one

Not as heavy as the one it was replacing but does the job and looks ok.
