I ordered an XXLarge and it fits me perfectly. I have been wearing a women's 1X, so I went up a size since this is regular sizes and Amazon recommended that size for me. I was extremely pleased. It fits well at the shoulders and around my belly. I really like the look of the washed blue vest. I loved it so much I ordered the black one too. Will be nice to wear especially in Spring and Fall. My friend really likes it too! There are no side pockets, if that matters to you. Definitely recommend this.

Not a bad little vest, I like the deep pockets but unfortunately it runs small, could hardly squeeze my arms into it, had to return it. I like loose comfortable clothing.

I looked for a long time before I found the right vest. It's exactly what I wanted too. It fits perfectly, and it's not too western cut for me, or too dark, too light, it was just the right color. I didn't want fringe, or anything extra. I wanted something to wear with dresses or jeans or whatever. It's just right. It's really comfortable and just my style.
