As an independent music producer, quality sound equipment is a priority! These headphones are exceptional quality, especially when producing and reviewing highly nuanced instrumental music.I highly recommend these headphones for anyone who values high end sound. I purchased an additional pair for our audio engineer. Whether the music is crisp and clear, or smooth and mellow, these headphones are spot on.

Great but not for large people
Build quality is great. The sound quality is great. I am a tall person with a big head. It feels a little too snug. The band on the top of my head will cause discomfort. My ears don't fully fit into the cups.I'm trying not to mark this as a negative, because I realize headsets are designed for small or average sized people. Life is always inconvenienced for tall people. I just wanted to leave this review in case someone else with a large head was interested in purchasing this product.

Not worth the price
I tried these out the other day in comparison with dt1990, akg k712, athm50x, and mdr7506. Neumann has absolutely no business selling these for $500. They are more in the $200 range when it comes to sound quality
