Love this kit. It has everything you need and if you're careful, can produce some great results. This is my go to and always happy with the amount of lightening. The conditioner smells lovely too.

Great product, perfect colour, easy to apply!

This is my go-to brand for lightening my hair at home. I have been using it for several years and have never had a problem with it. It's not overly harsh on your hair and gives good results every time. Do remember that it is a bleach, so will always cause a bit of damage. I also use a toner afterwards to get a good finish. Recommended!

Nice colour

The kit in the box was pretty good value. It comes with 30 vol developer, 25g of powdered bleach, highlighting cap, metal needle hook, a small brush, plastic gloves, plastic cap and a plastic box to mix. The cap is quite small and the pattern of the crosses are not aligned with the holes so it's hard to see where to pick. You'll definitely need someone to help as it took me a long while to get what I can. I recommend using your own mixing bowl and brush as the one provided was too flimsy and hard to apply. The bleach itself is good as it did lift my dyed, brown hair to a yellow (as to be expected), came out a bit patchy since I was doing it myself but was OK with it since I'll be applying a colour on top. Overall, it's not bad as a quick DIY highlight job but does take practice and another pair of hands to perfect.

Good for price

It's a bleach kit for home use. I had mediocre expectations and this met them. The cap is a hood, it sits weirdly on my head, which may be my head shape or might be the cap. Either way, I snapped off a string trying to make it sit right, so it isn't very strong. Additionally, as mostly expected, there were bleeds from the cap onto my roots, which again, was partially expected. The bleach was not the best I've used in terms of mixing smooth or consistency for application, but it was strong. After letting my selected highlights sit for 20 mins, I took the cap off and bleach Bathed my whole head and touched up the roots that had blobs of colour on to even it out. This method did give me a more multidimensional colour, but I still had to stick a toner over the top to get rid of the brassiness. I didn't expect it to be as good as a trip to the hairdressers, but I also wasn't completely let down either.

I used to highlight my own hair but hadn't for years so was a bit scared doing it again! It was easy enough to do, even at the back, though in hindsight I pulled too much hair through so ended up too blonde and dying pretty much the whole head rather than highlights. But it looked good so this is a lesson learned more than a criticism! The only tricky thing was working out how long to leave it - i think i left it too long as all was blonde except for one orange stripe but actually when i eventually removed it, the 'orange' dispersed nicely and the overall effect was very nice. Will be buying again.

I was unable to find a common North American highlighting kit for sale online (L'Oreal, Clairol, etc.) so I tried Jerome Russell Bblond No. 2. It worked very well and I would use it again.

Can’t believe the results literally looks like I stepped out of the salon!! I naturally have medium brown hair just a side note I did have my hair done at a salon before using this but months ago I just wanted to do face framing high lights my hair was medium blonde and this took me to platinum!! So good I will definitely repurchase! Fast shipping arrived all the way from UK to Canada!

Great product, my only complaint is that it comes from the UK (I'm in Canada) and it takes forever. I guess I should have looked at that before I bought. Otherwise, it gave me great highlights.. love the colour!
