Type 1 DM approved to have comfort and protect feet
This is by far the most COMFORTABLE light weight yet STURDY shoe. I used at the gym and the difference is so noticeable. I'm a Type 1 Diabetic and have suffered with wife feet and neuropathy for yrs. This shoe gives u so much room, looks sleek, true to size, and is SOOOOO light weight not bulky. U feel barefoot with support that feels more natural, but not like ur walking with nothing to protect ur feet. I will ONLY be purchasing this brand for my workout shoes from now on. It's EXACTLY what I have always been looking for. Highly recommend! The price and product is unbeatable

Great all around shoes
I really like these shoes. I wouldn't recomend them for long runs or trail running, but they are exceptionally comfortable and are my go to everyday shoes. They are inexpensive and I have several pairs in differing colors. I use them for walking, general wear and gym shoes because of their zero drop soles. There is not as much texture to the bottom of the shoe and it does wear out more quickly than I'd like. Still for the comfort, appearance, and price they are a winner for me. I've cleaned them a couple of times over the last year by throwing them in the clothes washer to good effect. For 40 bucks you really can't go wrong.

Solid barefoot-style shoes with room to breathe
The shoes aren’t bad at all. The wide toe box gives plenty of room for your feet to spread out, and the zero drop design encourages a more natural stride—but keep in mind there’s an adjustment period if you’re used to regular running shoes. The traction is solid, and the grip feels secure even on slightly slick surfaces. Cleaning them has been easy too—a quick wipe-down or light wash keeps them looking good. Color options are decent, but I wish they offered a few more neutral tones for everyday wear. Lightweight, breathable, and affordable—these are a great entry point into barefoot-style footwear.

Great shoe! Highly recommend
It’s very hard to find wide toed, breathable, zero drop shoes that aren’t barefoot shoes. I love barefoot but working n hard floors all day can be hard so these shoes fill an important need for me. They are comfy, durable, and have held up as being my main shoe. I wish they had brown ones with brown soles but the all black is very versatile. They grip well, give your toes lots of room, and I’ve gotten compliments on them.

Toes box wide enough to accommodate splay correctors
After reading many reviews, took the plunge and bought my first pair of barefoot style shoes (these). I am determined to start correcting my misaligned toes, failed bunion surgery and painful arches that have ruled my life for too long . I am going from quality, leather, supportive New Balance...which is the only shoes I can wear most of a day without unbearable pain....to these shoes. I bought on Amazon without ever having tried on or seen in person so I expected a fail. Most shoes look wide enough but once on they are generally too tight or I can feel everything I step on. These shoes came wrapped in sealed plastic but just in an amazon box, no shoe box. See the made in China label. They feel light weight and pretty cheap but they are cleanly made....no sloppy glue, wierd seams or mismatched colors. I had to open the laces as wide as they would go but once on, they were easy to lace up normally. My 8.5 4E wide ladies foot fit perfectly in this 8.5 shoe with plenty of toe box room and height for my thick feet. My toes have about 3/4" extra space from the nose. The fit is surprisingly good and the shoes are comfortable. Then I put socks on which took up a little more room than I would like. I then put my toe spreaders on plus socks and the fit is still comfy but I would get a half size bigger if wearing toe separators with these shoes. So far I am very happy I did not waste the $45 ish these cost, however, I've only owned them for 15 minutes so I can't yet say how they feel on my arches after wearing out in normal life. I hear it takes time to retrain feet to align and build muscle to support arches properly. In the first week or 3, my feet didn't hurt and were not sore from suddenly wearing shoes with zero support, but they were tired. I think this is evidence that my feet and calf muscles are retraining. I am very happy with this purchase. Update.... several months later and my feet still don't hurt. In fact, after a whole day my feet are tired but not painful as they were when wearing support shoes. My PF doesn't flare up with these shoes. I am so surprised that I am not in more pain. My toes have not straightened at all though and I am still not fully used to the thinness of the soles. These shoes still look good and I wear them daily. I wash the white pair of shoes in the sink with Dawn and warm water and they are still pretty white. Another bonus....I don't tie or untie my shoes, I just force them on because I am usually in a hurry and the back of the shoe hasn't broken down at all. In fact, both pairs still look very nice. Hope this helps someone. ***Update...did a 10 day trip to London and Dublin and wow did these shoes hold up! I took a risk and only brought these 1 year old shoes and no others. We did 56 miles in 8 days on foot and I could feel the cobblestones which were really uncomfortable. But best of all, no stabbing pain from PF! Yes swollen, aching, painful feet but no stabbing pain anymore! Life changing.

Great feel and quality if the tread lasted longer.
Felt I should write a review since I had so much hope for these. I run about 100 miles a month and was frustrated at the cost of having to buy new Altra Torins every two months. So I tried these. A few things. As others mentioned they run a half size big. The size I always get for Altra has too much room. It may be because they have zero cushion and so you need room for an insole. I ran a few times without insoles and it was okay, but when I bought some it was actually comfortable. I really enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately, the tread gave out on me in one month. See image. I pronate so I always wear the outside edge of the back of the shoe, but with Altras it’s not this worn through after twice as many miles. Because I had insoles and wouldn’t have to buy them again, I bought another pair of Whitins, this time a half size smaller, and it’s again very comfortable to run in, but after week I’m already seeing bad wear on the tread. As quickly as that’s wearing, I won’t save money with these - can’t buy shoes every month. The rest of the shoe feels solid to me. Some review said it looked like poor quality but they seem well made to me. Just need thicker tread for pronaters like me.

Good shoe, good price.
Ok, I love these shoes. I get in 5000 to 15000 steps per day, if not outside on concrete. The soles last 6-12 months. I have bought these many times. My feet are not cramped at all and my toes are taking on a healthier shape instead of being pinched together. They are a zero drop shoe if I'm not on concrete I'm outside and I don't suffer any foot soreness. I would definitely recommend.

Roomy and comfy shoes. At this price, definitely beats Altra options for pavement running

For years I have struggled with the fit of shoes, and spent money, on doctors and orthotics. They have all failed me. I saw the shoe on Amazon, it looked good so I took a chance. I am glad I did. (Why) there is plenty of room for my toes, on the side and top, I have average ankles and heals the fit is perfect no riding up or down! The shoe is very light and airy. I have been told that I need cushioned heal with stability.(I know now that is Not so for me ) The zero drop shoes was the best thing for me, my walking is way more stable and my ankle pains are gone and other problems are healing. I have put almost 80km walking on them and they are holding up good. (No rough abuse) I now have purchased second pair just in case they are no longer available. This product works the best for me, and they look good too although they need some more colors. (Little note doctors are not always correct and shoe company's promote hype, trust your gut and take some chances to find what works for you!) I did and its paying off 👍👍👍 ( Note I did upgrade the insole to Marks work warehouse 2 pack Duracare insoles)
