The 2amp batteries only last 5mins tops on leaf suction. Once battery has been discharged, it cant be recharged straight away, it has to cool. so when both batteries are discharged, you're stuck!! So I've purchased 2 x 8amp batteries from eBay, they run about 15mins per battery, just long enough for what in need, then I've got the 2 x 2amp batteries, if required. Suction tube is a bit fiddly to fit & remove for leaf blowing, instructions are not very clear. The machine is not heavy, & is easy to use. Glad I bought it, no more cables trailing about. Shame it didn't come with the stronger batteries in the first place!

As a blower: Excellent. Good power, no problem shifting damp leaves. It does go through the batteries quickly, after all it's a high rpm motor so it's no surprise. I wouldn't bother at all if you're using the 2ah batteries, you need the 4ah ones. Vaccum: Works well, we have a large garden of about 350/400 m2, surrounded by 3 oaks and a birch. We had a thick carpet of leaves that I managed to suck up in about 9 bag loads. It got harder towards the end as the damp leaves left the bag wet and I think it struggled to get the airflow through. Honestly for a smaller garden it would be excellent, and with dry leaves it would probably grab them easily, but with British autumn that's probably a lot to ask! Batteries. To do the whole garden, I went through 4x 4ah and a 2ah. It does get through the batteries. The blower is harder on the batteries than the vacuum. And don't bother if you only have the 2ah batteries, they just don't last long enough. Noise wise it's similar to a lawn mower. I dont consider the batteries a major issue, if like me you already have several 40v batteries for a lawnmower and strimmer, it makes sense to stick to the same system. I managed to fill two whole compost bins with the leaves, so all in all I'm quite pleased with it, but just don't expect miracles with the battery life. I've only used it once so far, so we'll see how well it performs in the long term. Given the power of the machine I don't mind having to recharge all the batteries. For reference, I can usually mow the lawn using 2x 4ah and sometimes an extra 2ah if it's a little higher or a bit damp.

Have to admit I already have two batteries so after reading reviews I felt confident. Suction can be set from OK to powerful. I only use this for sucking up leaf's as I have a professional petrol blower and rather than change nozzles I find it easier to just use this for sucking. So batteries...yes this this drain batteries fast, I have a large garden and only just about get around before two batteries are drained. I found the suction is better than anything I have previously used so if set to half power the batteries last much longer and if needed I just press the power button to whack it up full for a bit. So batteries are the weak area unless you have a small garden but there are a few really good areas not mentioned by many. Leaf bag - In the past I ended up covered in dust but the bag that is supplied easily come off, but the clever thing is the air only comes out of one side so you can sling the bag over your shoulder without the worry of being covered in dust...its just nice not have to change cloths every time I use it. Should strap, I used to find these things heavy but this fits well and its much easier to use than others I have had as your shoulders take the weight. Access point - Previous leaf suckers I have had block up and trying to get a coat hanger or similar into the engine area to unblock it was hell. Well good news, this has never blocked up and even if it did its designed for easy access and if it ever blocked up then unblocking it would be no trouble. so 10/10 for design, 6/10 for battery life (even if it does come with the power of a small nuclear power station)

Had high hopes for this garden vac as Greenworks cordless hedge trimmer is excellent. Unfortunately, the garden vac did not perform well. It is well made, quiet and sturdy but my husband spent more time unblocking it than actually clearing leaves. Description stated that batteries were interchangeable but our hedge trimmer battery was too small. We found, unfortunately, that it was not fit for purpose.

Magnifique et tres puissante

Va muy bien para agrupar hojas y residuos vegetales de poco peso. La pila dura relativamente poco y no funciona nada bien el recogedor ya que no tiene mucha potencia y no aspira lo suficiente

FATE ATTENZIONE NELLA FASE DI INNESTO DEL CONO DI ASPIRAZIONE, PERCHE' LA MACCHINA PRESENTA UNA LEVA DI FERMO UN PO' DELICATA E SPESSO VIENE NATURALE PREMERLA CON FORZA, MENTRE BASTA SEMPLICEMENTE SPOSTARE IL GANCETTO PER POI INNESTARE IL TUTTO. Una comoda sacca poi fara' da contenitore del materiale aspirato. Attenzione a non aspirare materiali che possano danneggiare la paletta girevole interna alla macchina, essendo in plastica, in poche parola questa paletta spinge poi i materiali aspirati nella sacca, girando velocemente, quindi se scheggiata o rovinata puo' diminuire le capacità e le performance. Pecca, non viene fornito nella scatola un gancio o un innesto da poter fissare a muro per posare la macchina o un qualcosa per conservare il tubo aspiratore.
