OtterBox Galaxy S23 Ultra Commuter Series Case - Black, Slim & Tough, Pocket-Friendly, with Port Protection

I love this case. It replaced my old case that I bought with the phone in the first day it came out. Its tough and protects my phone from drops on both sides. It also and this part is important protects my charging port from dust getting in! I dont have a wireless charger and I've seen alot of people have port problems(including myself) so keeping that clean and dust free is important. The feel is love though when its new it is a lil slippery to be expected(not a downside) buttons a little tougher to press but its new so its tough be expected at first. Assembling it to your phone is a snap. Overall a great product.

I bought the case a year ago and I am finally replacing it. On the bottom of the case of the hard plastic case at first the thin strip above snapped off several months after buying it. And now a year later the hard plastic to the right of the charging port has broken off. Also at some point the top right just above the volume buttons has warped slightly and is no longer flush with the phone. This earns my 5 star because I have dropped my phone so many times and has been abused in so many ways and the fact that there is no damage to my phone is amazing. It has even been toddler proof

Rating 4 stars, because I do love the case. It's sleek, was easy for me to put upon my S23 Ultra, and I'm confident that it will protect my phone in the event of a drop. I didn't rate 5 stars because of one issue that I find quite inconvenient. The power and volume buttons are VERY stiff and hard to press. I don't know if it will loosen up in time, but as for now, the tips of my fingers are becoming mildly sore because of the stiff buttons. I cannot imagine trying to double press the power button to quick access the camera, because you will hurt yourself after awhile. Overall, this is a good case. It's slick, thin, easy to put on, and doesn't conflict with most screen protectors. I'm very sure it will protect your phone in case of a drop or fall. But know that the buttons are VERY hard to press.

Sleek enough not to be bothersome, it's sturdy enough to give me peace of mind. It would always go with this series of otterbox for any new phone.

Very effective protection. I have dropped my phone many times, on its corner, face-down, on-end, on its back, no damage at all to my phone. Three stars is because the case hasn't held up well, especially considering the price, and it is difficult to press the phone's buttons with the case on. The rubber surround has somehow stretched away from the phone so it can slip out of the case. I didn't give it two stars because Otterbox has a reputation for replacing their cases when they fail, and I don't anticipate having problems getting a replacement for this one. Despite these negatives, I will continue to buy Otterbox because they make armor for phones.

Very good cover. Protects phone very well. Slim enough to fit in a picket with no problem.

It's not bad and has protected my phone from many drops. I've purchased this case twice now. The first time I had it for about a year and half and the case bowed out by the volume buttons leaving a space between the phone and the case. The cover where you plug in the phone wore out and that's why I purchased a new one. The case is bowing out by the volume buttons again. That started within a month of buying it. I won't be purchasing this one for a third time.
