I took a chance and spent an enormous amount of money (to me) on pre-packaged Baklava that was probably sitting in someone's overseas warehouse for 1000 years. I'm so glad I did! The quality of these delicate treats is literally like walking into a confectionery shop in Turkey and picking them out from a display case of freshly made pastries -- I kid you not! I am so pleased with the taste, texture, appearance, moisture level, and size of these mini treats that I will set aside money to purchase them in the future if Amazon still carries them. They are so pretty to look at and so tasty that you could throw a party, display and serve them to guests, and folks would rave. They are that good! Worth every penny.

These pastry treats are one of the best things I have ever eaten!! They are very unique and each variety in the box has a slightly different flavor. Not too sweet - just good! I've ordered these twice now and will again. Try them - if you like baklava, or ground nuts with a honey sweet flavor, you will love these pastries.

This arrived in good shape and on time for Christmas. The pastries were very fresh, crispy, not overly sweet, delicious! Worth the money. Have plans to share when you open the package, as it needs to be eaten within 2 weeks and it's a double layer container. Will order again.

Bought for my wife, who loves baklava. The variety of items in the box are very tasty and not very sweet. My wife would prefer a more syrupy sticky version she grew up with, but very happy with it. I, on the other hand, prefer a less sweet and sticky baklava. The box is very dense and the pieces are the perfect size for a quick little nibble. Very fresh tasting and the "dough" is still crispy. If you like baklava and want something a touch less sweet than the stuff sold in the big box stores, I would highly recommend this one. Only 4 stars because the wife and I differ in our opinion and can't do half stars.

Everything is expensive today. These are not cheap. However I am aware that one or two pieces of baklava in a restaurant may be $5.50 or $5.95 for example. So actually when we look for a dessert at home after dinner, this is a fine option. We only take 2 a person after dinner because of the sugar content. I bought them again after buying them for Christmas week and have not regretted it. I think the vendor puts out a product which is a decent quality.

I bought this as a birthday gift for a friend and she loved it! Said it was tasty, fresh and was plenty to last a while. It was comparable to some I sent for Christmas from a local factory but she said this one tasted fresher.

I bought this as part of a Valentine's Day gift for my wife. She loves it (and so do I)! She says these are almost addictive, they're so good. The pastries are fresh and tasty, and not overly sweet. I would recommend this for anyone as an alternative to chocolates. Excellent!

Är mycket glad att så enkelt kunna beställa hem dessa lyxig läckerheter! Färska med rätt sprödhet! Rad 2 var inte skuren i portionsbitar så var lite svårt att få upp och skära själv. Beställde på fredagen och fick leverans hem på måndagen. Mycket snabb service! Kommer absolut att köpas igen! Tack! :)

Aggiornamento al secondo acquisto a gennaio 2024. Non appena sono tornati disponibili li ho acquistati nuovamente, posso dire con certezza che mai scelta fu più giusta. Arrivati a gennaio 2024 con produzione gennaio 2024 e scadenza gennaio 2025, quindi il primo acquisto, con prodotto arrivato scaduto, era dovuto evidentemente ad errori di logistica. Sono baklava profumati, dai colori vividi, la pasta è fragrante, la frutta secca ricca e gustosa, lo sciroppo zuccherino è ben presente ma non invadente: golosi, buonissimi, li riacquisterò senza alcun dubbio. **************************************** Recensione precedente con prodotto arrivato scaduto. Purtroppo, non posso dare più di 3 stelle in quanto il prodotto, arrivato il primo dicembre 2023, era già scaduto il 10/10/2023: contattato il produttore, che mi ha risposto in meno di 24 ore, mi è stato indicato di chiedere il rimborso direttamente ad Amazon, trattandosi di prodotto spedito da quest'ultimo, così ho fatto e sono stato subito rimborsato, senza necessità di restituzione prodotto, essendo un alimentare scaduto, ma con anzi indicazione di smaltimento da parte mia. L'imballo è ottimo, una scatola di cartoncino a cofanetto, che racchiude la scatola metallica esattamente corrispondente alle immagini online; quest'ultima è anche sigillata in plastica trasparente e, sul fondo è presente l'etichetta, purtroppo senza italiano, con i dati del distributore, gli ingredienti, i valori nutrizionali, il lotto, la data di produzione e di scadenza. Nonostante fossero arrivati già scaduti, ho comunque aperto la confezione e devo dire che, almeno dal profumo e dall'aspetto, i Baklava sembrano veramente invitanti: -) ottimo assortimento, partendo dai rotolini di sola pasta fillo imbevuta di miele, passando per vari rotolini con frutta secca, per arrivare a dei rettangoli di pasta ricoperti di una moltitudine e grande varietà di frutta secca, ben riconoscibili i pistacchi, le mandorle, le noci, -) tutte le forme sono fatte magistralmente, notevoli i piccoli cilindri con fili di pasta all'esterno, sembrano delle nuvole ricamate che, al tatto, sono croccantissime, -) anche i colori sono molto invitanti, tutto sembra curato e di qualità, un vero peccato non assaporarli, ma penso li riacquisterò.

Mashallah! Bought this as an eid gift for my parents, for eid al fitr 2020 and they loved it! The packaging was posh and the Baklava was certainly gourmet. We live in the UK but are originally Palestinian. Baklava has its origins between the Turks and the people of the levant so we can tell a good baklava when we see one and this was certainly good. It is a bit on the pricey side (even for good quality baklava). No doubt, the metallic box packaging and shipping from Turkey add to the cost; however the Baklava itself is, as described by the seller, made to gourmet standards. It is worth to spend the money for special occasions or gifts, as it will stand out from the regular stuff both in terms of quality and presentation. Though this is clearly better than the cheapest stuff, it is possible to get similar quality baklava from local UK shops with with regular packaging for a bit cheaper (depending on where you live). If I was just buying for myself or as normal, I would probably just buy something of similar quality, and save this luxury presentation product for extra special treats, occasions or gifts. If you are getting this as a gift etc then I give it 5/5 stars, as the extra posh presentation etc becomes worth it. If just for normal consumption 4/5 stars for slightly pricey cost. Brilliant Baklava overall, well done.
